I didn’t like that our room had only a sky window and no other windows. I also expected Netflix to be installed on TVs. The TV didn’t work properly.

The young lady that checked us in could've been more engaging and helpful. We had asked some questions about dinner options and she didn't really give us much help. However, I will give her the benefit of the doubt in that I don't think her English was very strong and may not have been comfortable with the questions I was asking.

The hotel was awesome! We loved the rooms as they were the biggest and most spacious rooms we had on our trip to Italy. The beds were also the most comfortable and luxurious. The breakfast was excellent, both in the freshness of the food as well as the amount of offerings available. We only stayed at the hotel one night as we were simply passing through the area, but it's a hotel we talked about throughout the rest of our vacation. All other hotels were compared to it for the remainder of our trip. We wished we had spent more nights there.

Despite our room being modernised there was so much of the Schloss that had been preserved in its original state that it still met our expectations of a genuine castle stay.

This Schloss exceeded our expectations and provided us with the castle experience we were looking for. The breakfast was outstanding and the evening meal in the restaurant was an amazing experience. The service was first class and the food was exceptional. We were able to freely roam around the inside of the castle and enjoy some of the original rooms as well as the surrounding grounds.

Worth to mention that the wellness center is at Aqualux rather than on-site (for people not to be confused and search for it at the hotel or from hotel pictures)

The hotel can be a bit remote however they make it worth. Giving the option of a wellness center and renting bikes for free, plus the sardas were very friendly.

This is a hidden gem. Stylish and authentic place. Staffs are professional. We had a little issue with our room setup at the check-in and it was resolved/upgraded immediately at no extra cost. The restaurant is highly recommended.

We booked deluxe room because at the time of booking it had a picture with a bath and looked bigger. However, we received the room with a shower which looked exactly as standard room from the pictures. As we complained to the staff a numerous various reasons were given why we received exactly that room. We were also told that only suites have bath (although pictures at Booking at that time showed different story). No apology nor compensation was offered after our first complaint which was really disappointing for us and not something one would expect at this level. After we continued our hassle by checkout, we received a promotional 10% discount, which does not even cover the difference in room price, not to mention a disappointing instead of wonderful experience in the castle. In the meantime the problematic picture on the Booking was removed. For us it was further disappointing the free entrance to the nearby thermal pools as they were completely overcrowded. We were not able to get any Wifi in the room. Lack of creativity with the property is a further minus for us (e.g. there is not much to do in the hotel unless you have booked a duplex suite). There are many other castles in Austria with better contents (however food is still amazing here).

The breakfast is absolutely fabulous. Huge choice of different cheeses, speck, sweet little things, as well as variety of warm egg dishes. The building itself is a masterpiece.

It’s not that this was a bad place to stay it just wasn’t amazing and I believe that for the price, it should have been. Room was tastefully decorated but quite small, interior was generally a little sterile for my taste, restaurant was overpriced and staff was quite cold. I just think there are options in this price range that feel truly luxurious and this hotel fell short

The castle was beautiful and we really enjoyed the spa included in the price. Front desk staff was friendly. Very good breakfast
