Very good location, 5 mins walk to the Salamander train station. Fantastic view from the balcony to the Hills. All the staff is extremely nice and helpful. We choose the halfboard, that was a good decision. The sortiment is pretty good, meals are delicios.

Hotel Schneeberghof is a must-stay. It is across the street from the hauptbahnhof to the top of Schneeberg (which the stay includes discounted tickets for!) The dinner and breakfast were included in the half-board option and both we excellent. The bed was extremely comfortable and the staff was very welcoming. There are hiking trails all around the hotel as well.

No air condition or fan, made it difficult to rest and sleep during the warm days. Dinner was below expectations.

Nice room, good shower, nice breakfast. Lovely pool. Helpful stuff, especially the lady at the reception who changed our room for one with better view and arranged early breakfast for us. Close to Salamandra train.

Beds could be a bit more comfortable. No double bed, only single ones. Heating could be a bit more powerful.

Staff is super friendly. If you run into a tasting menu - that's excellent. (The other dinner was forgettable). Very good sauna area. No hidden costs!

Nothing to speak of. The room was a bit dry but we solved that by opening the window!

The food was outstanding. If you consider yourself to be a foodie then this place is for you! We stayed for a week and had the vegetarian options a number of times and even these were stellar. Breakfast was great also with a good assortment of freshly baked bread, flavourful scrambled eggs, fresh fruit salad and a really nice tea section - and so much more! Lastly, the pool and spa area was all you could ask for. I don't normally swim in public pools but made an exception here. Chlorine levels were perfect.

I don't remember anything.

Everything! The location of the hotel is simply perfect: the Salamanderbahn is at only a 5 minutes walk distance and there is also a nice city center with a small lake and playground for kids, bars and also a sort of "healthy water walk" starts there. We were sorry we could not stay more. The hotel itself is perfect, the staff is smiling and is ready to help you with any request. We chose half board and we didn't regret it: one evening there was a grill evening, another day there was a "seated menu": instead of buffet service we could choose from several dishes the day before and then we got about 4-5 degustation dishes. It was more than expected! And all this at candle light! Fabulous! :)

The hotel restaurant refused to serve meat 20.10hrs, because they closed at 20.00hrs, even though I was waiting to be served at 19.45hrs and none of the restaurant staff were taking any notice of me. This was very disappointing as I then had to drive for 20 minutes away to have a pub snack, and then drive back. The hotel reception staff did try and find a closer restaurant, but none were available.

the hotel spa facilities are reall good, and the scenic location of the hotel is also very nice.

It was our second time in this hotel. We did not get the reserved suite. We got a message on this about 1,5 hours before our arrival. We requested in the messaging to solve the issue in person. The receptionist waiting for us did not speak English (or refused to speak with us in English..) and was completly disinterested. Not directly rude but she basically did not care if we stay or if we go. Finally we got two adjecent rooms (one with a view on a dirty wall) and a third room in an other part of the hotel. The door on the bathroom was loose, but they could not fix it. Nor give us any other adjacent rooms.. As a foreigner I felt like treated as a secondary customer. Once I got over on this, the hotel was fine, all other staff members are super friendly, especially with kids. Altough all other experiences were good, because of the mistreatment with our booking and on our arrival I am not planning to go back there.

The hotel generally is fine, mainly what you expect from a traditional 4 star hotel. Wellness is really good! Our reservation was messed up and we were handled by the one unfriendly member of the staff.

Only separate beds, no double beds in the whole hotel. Also beds very uncomfortable, so very bad sleeping. 2 separate beds pushed together is not a double bed and I think no couples should choose this hotel as recepcionist told us all rooms are like that. Very loud music which can be heared in the room. Dinner is under normal. Was not worth the price because of abnormal sleeping and loudness. Not for a silent and romantic stay at all!

Breakfast is ver good. Rooms clean. Good location.
