How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Breakfast was excellent. Fresh fruit, nuts, a juicer, cheese fish , meat, great pastries, honey. The room was extremely comfortable, spotlessly clean, with bath and walk in shower. The pools and spa were great. All the staff were welcoming and helpful

The room was very warm & there was a lot of road noise/people coming home .. making it difficult to sleep. When we went to the rooftop pool it was closed, had to wait in the cold in our dressing gowns for 20mins for it to be opened. Mentioned that we were disappointed to receptionist and they apologised and virtually shrugged their shoulders. The pool is open for 2 hours a day, so 20 mins is a big chunk of this.
Great location. Wonderful breakfast. Funky bar. Spa facilities are lovely.

Fitting room is not serving for sporty people at all, I hope you can develop the hotel in near future so that you have also a Gym (even a small one) available.

the bins being done every morning at 05:20am - the rooms were so well heated that you had to sleep with windows open but then you were awoken every morning by the noise of the bins being collected

The closing of the bar at night is announced by the lights being turned on in full! Not necessary!

The room was on the 1st floor and did not have a view. It was excessively hot and room temp could not be regulated. Otherwise good room spacious and new same for the bathroom. Restaurant in the hotel was one of the best in town and very expensive. No other options if you wanted to eat at the hotel. Some of the Staff at reception was not very helpful, when trying to find other options to eat.

The bed linens could be of better quality. The pillows were too soft for me.
Great staff, great breakfast, perfect location and wonderful spa. The hotel restaurant is quite good and has a very nice vibe. We had some issues with the room but it got solved very quickly. Not all the rooms are as charming. The 2nd floor seems to have nicer beds.

The WiFi was slow, but not a big deal
Amazing location really close to a train station and plenty of shops, bars and restaurants. The hotel was clean and had an incredible spa area. The staff were friendly and helpful, the beds were very comfortable and the room was very big. The breakfast was great, with so much choice, would definitely recommend, thanks!

The staff at this hotel were exceptional. They truly seemed to care and worked to ensure that the guests were well taken care of. They even noticed that my wife had a birthday during our stay and brought us a piece of cake to celebrate. Also the bar makes some great cocktails.

Fantastic breakfast, actually the best on our trip. The breakfast staff were pleasantly withdrawn but very attentive. Prosecco on arrival witch was nice after a long drive from Croatia <3 The swimming pool on the roof top that we had (almost) completely to ourselves was also an amazing experience. Cozy restaurant with a little bit of a classy vibe, which is sometimes nice(the salmon had potential). Perfect for sharing a bottle of wine and have some drinks. Hahnenkammbahn 5 minutes away uphill.

Shower only had a side door and it was impossible to prevent water from reaching the bathroom floor. Totally unacceptable and prevented a rating of 10. No hooks for towels.
Good location near train station and gondola and tourist center of town. Excellent breakfast. Helpful staff
