The ideal location for a quick recovery after a day at work or after a busy walk around the neighborhood. A new and pleasant spa area with terraces for relaxing with breathtaking views of the Traunsee. Beautiful private beach, nice restaurant. A wonderful room (however, without a kettle, tea and coffee, as well as without skin moisturizers, without hygiene kits in the bathroom at all, which is a bit unexpected for a hotel of this level). Except for the noted moments, it is ideal, even if you are without a car: a taxi to the center of Gmunden costs 15 euros, you need to order a taxi either the day before or 1 hour before the planned departure.

The absence of a kettle in the room and the complicated shower system left me feeling disappointed. Although the restaurant was excellent, the breakfast options were limited, and the coffee seemed lukewarm for some reason.

The hotel's location is superb; I never imagined such picturesque landscapes except in movies! The room is snug and tidy with a fantastic view from the window. The bed is exceptionally comfortable, and the restaurant is great!

The location is superb, the view is amazing. The staff is supernice, helpfull, and friendly. There are various, interesting program opportunities in the area. I wish I could stay more, or come back.

Very professional and friendly staff. Rooms and entire facility was very clean. Excellent location with lake just a thought of the stone away. Facility offers the beach towels for the guests. Many hiking trails with great variety of difficulty around the hotel and Traunsee. There is a boat stop in front of hotel to take a trip on lake or connect with hiking trails in the other side of the lake and visit Gmundent town center. Facility offers excellent breakfast and dinner in the hotel restaurant. Really great experience!

The location on the lake is just superb, I have arrived late evening and for the really good price I got an upgrade to a brand new renovated room with a balcony and view over the beautiful lake. The staff was sooo nice, it felt so pleasant to stay there.

The staff was very friendly. Even though the hotel's interior is quite old-fashioned it has a modern touch and feels very homey. We were surprised by the quality of food served in the adjacent restaurant. Right next to the Traunsee - heaven :)

Room was spacious, clean, with a big balcony. Views from balconies and restaurant's terrace are amazing! Staff friendly and helpful. Lots of parking space. Location is fantastic. Easy access to the lake, hiking trails. Truly exceeded our expectations!

Everything was perfect. If I had to mention something, it would be only to say that the water pressure in the bathroom was a little weak.

The panoramic views over the Traunsee are fantastic and the hotel has a large and delightful terrace on which breakfast and dinner can be taken. Friendly owners and staff in a traditional hotel which has been in the same family for the last 125 years, so they know how to provide exactly what guests are wanting. I shall definitely return for a longer stay.

The only thing, that was missing in the room is a mosquito nets on the windows.

First of all - location. Location is really beautiful and very quiet. The hotel has it’s own beach. Also there is a very good restaurant in the hotel. Delicious and qualitative food. Also, there was a good breakfast included into our stay. The room is very beautiful and clean. The bed and the pillows are really comfortable.

Very nice hotel right on the lake :). There are wonderful views from the room! We were pleasantly surprised by the heated floor in the bathroom, which is spacious and practical. Hotel staff very nice and friendly! We will definitely be back soon. :)

Location location location We originally booked one night and decided to stay 3 nights. This is a traditional hotel (with all the positive values of tradition) The room we had was big and very comfort. Separate section for sleeping and separate area for sitting and relaxing. In addition we had a terrace overlooking the lake Hotel has it's own parking area Breakfast is excellent, good variety Stuff is very nice and helpful
