The only bummer was that when we originally booked it we thought the place was in Hallstatt based on our maps search and that was not the case so we did have to figure out the busses but once we did it was easy!

Breakfast was delicious. Staff were wonderful and helpful. Rooms were very nice. We had a great visit!

The hotel was easy to locate as per the directions shared. There was Parking space available for our car. The rooms were quite small as mentioned in the description but they were cozy and had the basics in place. the location is very scenic. Overall a good budget option for stay near Halstatt. Halstatt is accessible by car in 10 mins. Breakfast was average.

Very friendly staff, clean space, breakfast was good - many options to chose from (for kids especially), location was amazing - right next to the Halstatt lake and kids playground. For people with kids there cannot be a better place to stay.

Although the hotel owns about 16 parking spaces, it is not possible to reserve them in advance.

The location is excellent for both driving and public transport, but parking incurs an additional cost. All staff members are very friendly. While the breakfast is simple, it is very good. The room is comfortable enough for the three of us, with a small balcony to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The hotel is very clean throughout. They provide luggage lift. Overall, it's 100% worth the value.

The hotel is perfect but stay at Obertraun can be uncomfortable once there is not transport...the bus stop at 5pm, the boat is not always available, and sometimes the taxis are not available in the evening also. We had to walk 6km at 9pm because there was no taxis when we finished our dinner. I reccomend rent a car.

Amazing hotel, beautiful location, and it shouldn't be considered as 2 stars...it is better than a lot of 3 stars I've stayed. Confortable room, super confortable bed, the room has a frigobar, coffee station, wardrobe and a table, good breakfast, amazing staff.

The room i was in on first floor right off lobby and view of parking lot but get high floor pool room if possible.

The reception was only available during the day. During nighttime, it was off, In case of emergencies someone present would be helpful.

The staff was really polite and super helpful. The attention to detail in the rooms in terms of highlighting important things, keeping sure to make the stay comfortable. The breakfast was good as well. The location is beautiful, very calm and scenic and very beautiful.

The hotel does not have proper sound insulation, so you hear everything that happens in the corridor. For this reason, I think this hotel is not suitable for long stays.

This hotel is a few meters away from the lake. We had a room overlooking the lake and the view from our balcony was wonderful. The room itself was not large but very cozy. The staff at reception were very friendly.

Loved the location a lot and I prefer this location rather than the crowded and very busy/noisy old town of Halstadt. Old town is one ferry ride away.
