Excellent location right in the center of the town. We had a view of a waterfall from our room with the stream passing right beside the window and into the lake. It was an excellent way to get a good night's sleep. Good clean room. Sandra is a good host and very helpful .Lift available, They have a very good restaurant also with fresh fish

Everything was great! They let us get in the room at 12:30 and let us leave after 12:00! They were very helpful and answered every question we had! The room was cosy, beds were very comfortable,the bathroom was excellent ! The location was perfect as we had an amazing view, we were close to everything and the walking distance from the ferry to our room was only 2-3 minutes! Breakfast was great as well.

The bathroom could have used a bit of a refurbishment but didn’t impact the stay.

We loved this hotel! The staff were lovely! The dinner in the restaurant was delicious and the service was great! The restaurant has a lovely ambience as well. We loved our view and our balcony. The bed was comfy and the shower was good. We also had breakfast included which was a nice treat as I didn’t know that when I booked the room.

Nice when request for a pot of hot water at the restaurant was granted. It will be great If there's a kettle in the room so that we can make our own tea/cof. Partition not full so washroom is wet after shower, non issue actually.

Great location, just a short walk from the pier & right at the marketplatz. Room is cozy & comfortable with a bonus partial beautiful views of the cathedral & lake. Well taken care of during our stay, staffs are friendly & nice. Had a lovely meal at the hotel restaurant. Simple & tasty breakfast.

Breakfast was very basic, but it's understandable since it is such a small hotel. We shared the lunchroom with only another couple and it would likely have been a waste to have too much food available.

Awesome place! Located in an old wooden house in the center of the small village of Hallstatt, we could enjoy a wonderful rest after a long hiking day. The room also had a balcony with fantastic views over the lake, the sunrise was spectacular. Plus, you get to hear the water running down the mountain just behind the house!

I think the breakfast could be better. At one of our hotels on our vacation, they actually cooked our eggs to request.

Enjoyed the restaurant for dinner...staff very friendly and food/wine good...convenient to eat at the hotel. Rooms were charming and we all loved staying on the third floor for the view.

Could have been a 10 for facilities with some refurbishing and if at least glasses were provided with the room. Perhaps some bath gel and liquid hand wash instead of soap bars will make it perfect.

We booked a room with the lake and mountain view, and it was spectacular. Breakfast was very good and the location was perfect too. Excellent reception and restaurant staff. We were also pleasantly surprised at the very efficient and polite transport service from the car park to the hotel and back.

The staff did not seem to be engaged or interested in having customers. Not proactive in assisting customers.

Location is perfectly situated in the square. The room, even though it is very small, but it is adorably cute. The food in the hotel restaurant is delicious.

The room was very hot for sleeping, we should have left the door open. We had this issue at all four of the hotels that we stayed at in Austria so it was not just here in Hallstatt.

The room and bathroom were lovely. The balcony had a gorgeous view. Breakfast was a very wide range of food and they had Gluten free bread for our family members that require that.

Very convenient location. Outstanding and personal service by staff. Both owners made a very noticeable effort to chat to us and advise/recommend places to visit and eat. Has to be one of the best places I’ve ever had the pleasure of being a guest at due to the decor and amazing, personal service by the kind staff!

The so called contactless check in was unfriendly when we arrived surprisingly a woman behind counter was very vague and uninterested in our arrival.

One of easiest Hotels to arrive at by Ferry and nearly the best position in Hallstatt. Restaurant staff were experienced, efficient ,polite and friendly.
