How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

No parking garage. You can park in the street if you find the spot or you can go to public garage that is about 5minutes walk from hotel.

That there are no tea and coffee making facilities in the bedrooms. The buffet breakfast could be better
The hotel is very central and close to the shops and other amenities in Klagenfurt.

Breakfast price is very high. Around 21-22 EUR per person. For that price it could be a little more options from beef. Pig salamis and dried products are dominating. If you coming on work days with the car, find a place or two where you will park for a reasonable price. You can park in front of the hotel to unpack yourself and then you need to move the car.
Hotel is in city center, 50 meters from main square and main walking zone. It is in an old bulding, but new, modern and very clean. The double room and the bathroom are big enough. They provided us a free cot. Staff is kind and helpful. Breakfast is served on the top floor view great view. Nice breakfast for day or two, but for a more days it needs a little more varieties. You can park where the blue lines are on the street but the price is high on work days. We were on the Saturday night and Sunday and it was free. Recommended.

No electric kettle in the room
The location was perfect and the stuff was great. The rooms dont have kettels, so no chance of hot water for a tea or coffee - the girls at the bar were super helpful plenty of times with hot water.

There was little space to place toiletries in the bathroom, which was a bit awkward. An extra shelf or hook would help. No other complaints.
Breakfast had a lot of options and was very good. The view was beautiful from the breakfast room, and it was a relaxing and enjoyable experience.

On a Sunday there was no bar service or a proper lounge facility for guests apart from the small lounge opposite reception which has seating for around 8 people. We had to go to a nearby sports bar for a coffee or refreshment.
The breakfast selection was excellent although the scrambled eggs were always cold. Maybe a warm plate or a warming element would help.

The hotel is centrally located and close to shops, restaurants and bars. The breakfast buffet has lots of choice and there is always plenty of food available. Staff are friendly and polite.

Missed a refrigerator in room but not complaining
Breakfast was very good and lots of variety to choose from.Staff at breakfast was always there looking after you. Location was great since we did the train everyday it was close enough and we where close to main town area.

Im used to having complimentary tea or coffee offered in hotels rather tst just water, but I think this was just a cultural difference and I did not adversely affect my opinion of the hotel.

Despite repeated attempts the air conditioning in our room did not work. We had to keep the window open all night to keep the room cool.
The location is awesome. The breakfast buffet is amazing. The staff is very friendly.

Initially we were given a room with a very limited outlook which for the price and length of stay was unacceptable. We requested a different room which reception arranged for us. New room was lovely. Would have preferred hairdryer in main room and would have liked a fridge. Wasn’t clear at breakfast whether a cooked to order option was available every day. Decaffeinated coffee should also be available as standard.
Stylish hotel including breakfast room and roof terrace with superb views. Very clean, stylish and comfortable room. Very good breakfast. Great location.
