How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

I do not understand why local tax is extra and not included in the price.
Nice and clean apartment, modern and new, better then expected, easy to find, enough parking place. Good communication to owner. To open the apartment we received code to key box near the door, explained even in video... :-)

The host called us before we arrive and informed us of everything, so when we arrived we know exactly what to do and where the keys and where to park. The apartment has everything that you would need, a decent coffee machine, towels, washing machine, etc... The host cleans the apartment himself so he put a lot of care into the details :)

The apartment is lovely, just as shown with lovely views of the surroundings. The host is kind and very responsive to any need that may arise, impressive really. Highly recommend a stay at this property!

Beautiful little accomodation for a family in a village. Great location and close to the Redbull Ring also shops up the road. It had everything we needed.

Internet connection was often interrupted. Before last evening we went for 2 short hikes, so we wanted to shower twice, and for the second time there was no warm water. I think the boiler works on night electricity or something like this.
Large apartment, with well equipped kitchen, with comfortable beds. It's in a lovely environment, in a small town, close to the forest, there are beautiful mountains around.

The kitchen is lacking. There is no oven or microwave so no real way to cook anything. There is a hob with two burners but it severely limits what can be cooked. A microwave is very cheap to buy and should be in the property at least.
Generally it was fine. The host was very communicative, apartment was very clean and well presented. It was nicely furnished and plenty of parking space available. It was safe and secure and the wifi was good.

The beds were to short. Beds were too small. The mattress was not supportive enough. New beds and everything is perfect
The contact and communication with Alex was smooth and at time - lovely guy. The cleanliness was exceptional. The rooms were like new. The location near to Red Bull Ring was perfect.

The flat is nicely decorated, very clean and comfortable and the terrace outside was a nice surprise. We were lucky with the weather so could enjoy both dinner in the evening and breakfast and coffee outside in the sun. There was noone around so it felt like a private terrace which was great. It was so pleasant that it was hard to leave! Also the host is very friendly, helpful and extremely responsive. He allowed us to stay a bit later which we appreciated very much. Great experience overall so highly recommended!

There was nothing to clean the rooms / dishes with. A broom and/or vacuum cleaner would be nice and a dish brush or something. For the bathroom, it would be nice to have some rack we're you could let your wet towels dry. It was pretty warm during our stay and the apartment has no air conditioning. So sleeping at night was pretty sweaty.
Overall quality of the apartement is really nice and the apartement is very spacious. The distance to the Red Bull Ring is perfect. With the taxi or car less then 5 minutes driving.

Many flies, due to location in the agricultural area. The windows are equipped with mosquito nets, so it is not a significant problem.
