We arrived with motorcycles, so we loved the road to the place, which has its own parking lot. The host, Beata, is really nice, always smiling and helping, she is really kind. Sonnhof is situated in the side of the mountain, so it has a wonderful view to the other mountains. Rooms have their own bathroom. There is a dining room downstairs where you can eat, they offer breakfast which they prepare. She will give a tip to go further up on the mountain for a panorama, and please do. It is the most beautiful view...

The nicest and kindes host we've stayed at. She's kind and helpful. Our last-minute late-night booking during heavy thunder storm complicated her life but she was able to resolve everything to our absolute satisfaction. The room was nice and clean. Location in the mountains is a bit difficult to reach, but perfect for hiking, skiing, etc.

The accomodation offers everything you need. Rooms are well equiped, furniture is nice and rustical. There is a balcony with mountain view. The location is just perfect, with a short car ride (10mins) you can get to 1700m high moutains with amazing views and walks. I highly reccomend delicious breakfast and dinner. The portions are huge and everything is very tastefull. But the absolutely best of all is the owner- Beate, who is nice, friendly and super helpful person. Highly recommended!

Hotel is situated almost at the top of the mountain, way to there is crazy, but view from the window is not amazing because there are to much trees near the hotel and you don't see mountains, just a little their tops. From the evening in the room was extremely cold. the blanket was very hot, so it was not comfortable to sleep (very hot under the blanket and very cold without it).

in the room was clean and calm, shower was hot., personal was very nice.

One bedroom needed to be passed in order to reach the bathroom (which was formerly accessible through the corridor). The bathroom water stream was very weak and the water was not getting really warm.

The hotel was situated far up in the mountains (perfect for those who like it). We had a very tasty dinner with very tasty beer. The house is a very authentic rustic former farmer's house.

The room & sheets didn't smell fresh and clean. The shower head in our room was terrible, with water spraying more like a mist rather than an actual shower. The toilet paper holder broke the minute we touched it. The mattresses were EXTREMELY soft, it felt like drowning inside them and we couldn't sleep on them. We also had a children's bed in our room & we eventually slept on it because it was more stiff. We were willing to ignore everything else that was bad in the room and just get out of that place quickly. But the worst part was, just when we checked out and the cleaning lady got into the room, she rushed to the hostess to tell her that we used both beds, and the hostess was mad at us for that, even after we explained to her we couldn't sleep on the soft bed. So they'll have to wash one more set of sheets, but their guests had a better night's sleep - in our opinion this should be the top priority for any bed & breakfast. We left feeling very discouraged after that interaction at the very end of our stay, which on top of everything else that was problematic in the room - ended up in this bad review which we do not often leave. Also it was the 2nd most expensive stay we had during our week in Austria, and all the other places we visited were on a much higher level. After seeing that it was not the norm in the countryside - we decided to leave this review.

The breakfast was great. The location was isolated but cool. The hostess was nice, to a point.
