We were very satisfied with this accomodation. It was beautiful and inspiring all around, well and interestingly equiped. The host was friendly, kind and helpful. We didnt miss anything.

The apartment was very clean, well equipped and organized, bright and comfortable. Located in a quiet area, it was also very safe, being inside a private and green courtyard. The location was excellent: handy to take the local trains or the buses to reach the centre of Vienna or anywhere else. A very special thanks to the owner of the apartment, that has been extremely helpful and absolutely kind, helping us to find a mechanic in the middle of the summer holiday, able to fix the car in record times to return home. Highly recommendable.

Nothing, everything was great

We liked very much the apartment, it is newly furnished and it had everything we needed, even in the kitchen. We enjoyed that it was so quiet and in the nature, we slept like babies. You definitely need a car for going around and it could be a bit far from the city, but for us this is what we wanted. The communication with Heinz was very good and he was very accommodating, even lending us an iron. Thank you for having us!

For some reason we had two partial rolls of toilet paper when we arrived. there was plenty extra of everything else, so I would suggest that hosts just instruct their cleaning crew to have two rolls in the bathroom, and stock two more with the paper towels. Summer temperatures are hotter and hotter as we all know. For this apartment, the upstairs area gets quite warm, even with the great skylight. We asked for fans and I think just keeping one in the apartment (ideally one on a stand that can be set to rotate or be stationary. we put the fan we were given on one of the bedside tables so it was up high enough to help) makes sense. Or consider a mini-split for the upstairs...For us, I hate to say it, but if we visit again in summer, I'll probably look for air conditioned places. Sad but true. Not specific to this place, but a general comment. Also consider large pillows to make the bed downstairs more comfortable when it's used as a couch for watching TV. OH! and wi-fi was really slow. we ended up just using our cellular. We did not ask about this, so maybe it could have been fixed.

Getting keys was great. they called me the day of arrival to confirm arrival time and make arrangements. Host was responsive during our stay. It was a little confusing as we arrived since the sign is small on the building, and the total complex is both the apartments, a section that is a small cafe/shop, as well as a personal residence. I would suggest a sign at the entrance to the parking area that directs guests to 'the double green door' on Hirschengasse, or for arrival instructions, the office is the first door on the right when you turn onto Hirshcengasse... Patio area is really nice and shaded in the evening with nice view over the Donau. The apartment is very cheery with high ceilings, big windows. The downstairs stayed cool even during some very hot days. The recycling area is small, convenient and allows you to just directly carry stuff out, which I loved. Overall a really cool re-done hof.

The host is very welcoming and responsive. We felt like home. The apartment was incredibly spacious. The kitchen is fully equipped, fridge, dishwasher and stove. Also, condiments and tea, which makes things better. Is impecabily clean. Beds are comfortable. Our son enjoyed the playing-ground very much. We plan on returning to this beautiful place.

Lovely, quiet location just outside of Vienna. Clean, cheerful, and well equipped apartments with a nice sun deck view of the pretty surroundings. And Heinz is a friendly, helpful host. Thanks for the stay!

Very happy I found Sonnhof Ressl on Booking.com for our 3 nights stay close to Vienna. The owner Heinz is a very friendly host and the appartment we got was simply awesome. Looked brand new and very clean. It was quite big with a bedroom, dinner area, kitchen and bathroom (with seperate shower and bathtub!). Nice and big windows and all sorts of appliances you could wish for. Induction cooking, oven, coffee machine, dish washer, TV with Netflix, and much more. All apartments are located on private area behind a locked main door, which gave the missus a nice and safe feeling. Owners have their own little shop with local products open Fri-Sun, for a great breakfast/coffee or other mini-grocery store items. For us it was ideally located just outside the busy Vienna area. By private car within 20mins in Vienna for some day trips. Should we go to Vienna again, we definately will contact mr Ressl again! (And we might, since 3 night is far too short :) )

Charming apartment in excellent location with a lovely little garden. Nice and relaxed atmosphere, cafe opposite for breakfast and snacks (closed Wednesdays and Thursdays).

Mosquito nets and airco is necessary but when we were there it was exeptional hot with 35-39 Celsius but I will talk to Mr.Ressl for this and think he will fit at least the mosquito nets.

Cosy place with a very spacious appartment with everything you need for 3 plus free parking. Nice view and sunrise to the terrace & appartment made it very bright. The host is friendly & helpful.
