The hotel does not have a pool, they offer free acces from the hotel to the public pool. It would be nice if they would offer free access to the public gym hall, otherwise their gym hall is very poor The coffee they sell was terrible

It was nice breakfast. Good swimming pool for children. There are two swimming pool. So children really had a great time. Hotel room is crean. I was very satisfied with this hotel. I enjoyed everything. I will go to this hotel again if I have chance. There is a McDonald's not far from hotel. Great breakfast buffet, the Royer is a very old school 70's style hotel, but does have modern conviniences. It is quite something to see and charming in its way. The staff are lovely and I loved the food and drinks. Its also very close to Planai ski fields and has a shuttle service directly to the gondola.

the walk from my room to the spa was quite dark/complicated (several stairs, ...) - but you get used to it

excellent breakfast buffet, fresh fruits, yoghurt, tea/coffee; polite staff; good dinner, free coffee + cake in the afternoon, free entrance to public swimming pool (although indoor it was pretty crowded with kids) good WiFi (looks like they have an access point in every room); highly flexible staff (I extended one night on short notice - but they managed)

There's not much to dislike...I would have loved a kettle in the room though.

We had a wonderful time and really enjoyed our stay. There's plenty of things to do at the hotel itself, including free entry to the swimming pool. It only takes 5 min to walk to Schladming center and there's a supermarket around the corner. Our room was big, cozy and perfectly clean! We loved the breakfast buffet as it had such a variety (even some vegan options) and everything seemed to be freshly prepared. The staff was always friendly and helpful and we'd love to go back there someday. We also recommend the a la carte restaurant, our dinner was delicious for a reasonable price.

The hotel a bit oldisch. Had to hunt the parking spots to be able to park in the parking lot. The parking lot was really narrowed, we had some issue with the parking.

The Tenne bar got very busy and difficult to get drinks by 4pm but had a good atmosphere early on. Its a bit of a walk into town, but not bad. The main course with the evening meal wasn't quite as good as the rest of the food

I arrived very late by train but the hotel sent a taxi to pick me up at the station. We could still grab some food at the hotel restaurant, which was amazing.

I expected a bit more from the wellness - the saunas are ok-ish but the surrounding area seems a bit outdated in terms of design and lighting. I would also prefer to have sheets instead of small towels in the saunas. There is no cold pool only showers in the saunas. I was disappointed that the swimming pool which is connected to the hotel only has warm water during the weekend, it is quite cold during the week. The pool is far away from the hotel saunas.

I was satisfied, hotel is very clean, food is delicious - we had breakfast and dinner - good variety and great quality food, staff was professional and helpful. I appreciated small details in terms of the service - bathrobe in the room, magnifying mirror in the bathroom, wellness slippers in the room etc. The room is quite large so you dont feel crowded, there is enough storage available. I enjoyed the bar next to the restaurant with a beautiful fire place where you can chat, read, play games etc.
