Little close to the main road and the railway

We loved Obertauern and the sportspension is very calm. Great view of the mountains from the room and we really enjoyed seating on the porch. We loved the atmosphere.

There was no shampoo

I really recommend to stay here if you are willing to visit Hallstat. It is really proper and cute. Obertraun is just located in front of Hallstat, you can reach it easily by bus or by boat. Also, in the same Obertraun there are magnific places to visit. The place is located just next to the information center of Obertraun, the supermarket is next door and one nice bakery is on the other side of the street. The onwer was friendly and even if she couldn't speak English, we could communicatrle very well.

Good location and nearby the mini markets. Walking distance to the train station. The host Mario is very helpful and kind. My friend had an accident he drive him go to the hospital. We appreciate his kindness.

the flat was amazingly cozy and also nice and clean! maybe the photos are not the best and lead you yo a misjudgment! The view from the balcony was exceptional! also it was in a quite neighbourhood close to the lake!

The toilet was separated. The bathroom was small. And the room was very close to the street which makes the room super noisy. There was no AC so you have to keep the window open which makes the room noisy. Also, nobody cleaned the room, replaced our towels, or remove the garbage during our four-day stay. The internet connection could be better.

The kitchen was very well equipped and there was a supermarket very close to the residence.

All about obertraun and all the other places around it is beautiful. You don't come for the night life or the bunch of people, but for the experiences around nature. Specifically, our accomodation was cozy and the host friendly. Big bed, great view, large bathroom.

we stayed in Obertraun because it is very close to Hallstatt, close to the lake on foot, we spent evenings there. Everything was good in the apartment. supermarket near the hotel.

Room is fine, just some dust on the bed that you can notice when you move on it with the sun light. Probably due to wall-to-wall carpeting. It was also not super comfortable bed but after such long walk you will feel it only in the next morning. For short visit fine. Overall OK.

Quite location, very nice restaurant next to the house and nice mountains around. Five kilometers walk to Hallstatt city center or you can choose nearby place for relaxing and swimming in the lake. Self check-in works fine and easy to do it. Bathroom also clean and nice.

Since I stayed for three nights I am supposed to get a "Sommerkard" for free, this gets me discounts on certain things in the area. I was not informed of this by the hostel management. The tourist information told me about it... If I hadn't gone there, I would have missed out on the discounts. The mirror and wash basin in my bathroom were too tiny to be functional. I am of average height but could barely see upto my chin. The basin was so tiny that I ended up splashing water all over me every time I turned the tap on.

The location is great. The house is pretty well-maintained and clean. Kitchenette is well-stocked.
