I liked everything about it.

Everything! the location is breathtaking, the breakfast was super delicious and fresh, the rooms are super clean and decorated very nicely and classy! everything is exactly as you see in the pictures! My stay at Stallerhof was one of the best things that could happen to me in my visit to Austria! I had to stay in the area for couple days before my next destination and was so lucky to got to know this place and it’s super super kind and nice staff. I was traveling alone and didn’t have car, as well as I was partially working. Monica went above and beyond and made my stay very special as if I am staying with family.

Amazing property. The host was kind enough to give us her best room facing the mountain. It is spacious and has a beautiful balcony overlooking the valley and mountains in panoramic fashion. The breakfast was superb and we had so much choice from all the breads and cheeses. The host even served us eggs. Top class stuff.

continental breakfast was limited. no croissants, and only scrambled egg for cooked breakfast.

Rooms were simple and clean. Dogs are welcome. unspoilt views.

if you want to travel easily to other surrounding towns, best to have a car or hiking equipment (no Übers etc.)

beautiful location, facility and property. kind and hospitable host that helps you feel comfortable and like Family (but not overbearing). impeccably clean with small touches. fresh and local breakfast spread. lovely views. my German skills are mediocre, and they were understanding and spoke English.

Bautiful location, Monika is a very nice person, the breakfast and the coffee is exellent. The pansion is charming, cosy, with sofisticated decorations.

The shower had a draining problem and water didn’t drain sufficiently. No water heater / coffee maker in the room only in common areas. No safe in the room.

The location is amazing, perfect view and close to all the really great attractions in the area. The staff is incredibly nice and accommodating.

We came across this hotel on booking.com and were impressed by its location and decided to instantly go for it not knowing exactly what to expect. It is safe to say, we were blown away by the host Monika and her beautiful hotel based in Golling. She was so hospitable & helpful and made us feel so welcomed and well accommodated for! When she picked us from the station to take us to the hotel, she mentioned show much she loved her guests and those words ring true as she went above and beyond to make us feel catered for. I could not recommend this hotel more to anyone looking to stay in Salzburg!

I and my wife stayed at Stallerhof for several nights at the end of July 2022 on our Austria & Switzerland trip and this was by far the best stay of our journey. From the moment we checked in, Monika and her family made us feel like home. Exceptionally clean rooms and grounds, breathtaking views of the valley and mountains, and delicious breakfast (my wife especially liked the apricot pie) served fresh on the terrace every morning.

The beds were too soft for us. but never been in a hotel where its firm enough so probably our taste is different, no big deal thou.

wonderful breakfest, one of the best i had in hotel. Monika (the host) is extremely helpful, very kind and a great host. the location is perfect and the view is absolutely stunning. They welcome and adore dogs, so bring yours too.

would have been better if each rooms has a small kettle and some coffe/tea packets. this woudl be more refreshing for late checkins

Truly stunning views of mountains and valley that can be enjoyed (weather permitting) from outside terrace area during breakfast or a drink. Rural location means it is very quiet and peaceful - perfect to unwind. Property is well-maintained to highest standards and presented tastefully with a lot of care. We were made to feel very welcome by friendly and helpful owner. All round a great experience.

We came all the way from the west coast of the United States, and we had the best time. The property was beautiful, super quiet and an amazing view that we didn’t get tired of. A little hike up the hill to a cozy restaurant with super friendly staff, close to Salzburg and the lakes around, great location. The family always had an open ear for requests or questions, giving recommendations on where to go and what to do, and the breakfast was the cherry on top- freshly made eggs of your choice and everything else you wanted for a breakfast, while having the most amazing view down on the village and river. Definitely will go back here! Thank you for everything!
