How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Only thing, this time we did not have coffee machine in the room, which was always previously available.

Very good hotel, nice staff, also very good breakfast. There was an option to prolong stay for few hours for part of the price - very convenient!

Too warm in the room, otherwise very nice. Also would love to have more paper cups in the room for tea or maybe even normal cups.
The room was nice, the bathroom very clean, the staff very friendly.

If you don't mind to live Near cemetery windows could face it
Good chain Hotel, very good and helpful staff, free parking, super money value, not only for one night to explore the Graz, Billa at the corner, opera house and city old center possible by foot or short ride, spacious room and bathroom, balcony, cleanness, large comfortable bed a lot of pillows

Very spacy rooms , calm place , free parking in front of entrance . We stoped just to sleep a night on the way home , it's was short stop - but it's clear that next time I will choose the same hotel .

For some reason there was an extra bed in my room, which I didn't need nor request and it took up some space.
Clean room, friendly staff, nice breakfast, everything was fine!

It'd be nice to have some outdoor furniture for the balcony. Hotel comes off as a bit 90s-y in general
Location is nicely reachable by tram from Hbf/Hauptplatz/Jakominiplatz. Not very lively, so it's not particularly loud there either. Staff was friendly in our only interaction

Everything was alright, no major complaints or problems, really.
Extremely helpful and friendly staff, quiet room, parking place available, satisfying breakfast! The room was pretty big, bathroom very nice and clean. The location citywise was okay, the place itself is a little wierd, next to a cemetery and a grocery store. It was no problem for us, just to let you know. For a three star hotel and just to sleep over, which was what we needed, it was more than suitable. Thanks again!

Only thing I'd mention is too soft bed.
Spacious room with balcony. Parking in garage. Good location - walk distance from city center. Check out at noon.

Bed mattress not so confortable (too soft) and shower in the bathtub (when showering the water goes out in the bathroom floor)
Nice hotel, staff at the reception was really kind, bedroom was nothing special but overall clean and spacious, quiet area, the centre can be reached in 5 minutes with the bus, great private parking, Billa Supermarket right next to it. In short, it has everything you need for your stay, especially if you come by car.

We booked the room for 2 nights but the second day the electronic key did not work as it seems it was programmed for just one night. However they fixed it super fast. Pillow was too thin but I used the blanket to thicken it.

The breakfast spread was same for everyday which might end up being a little boring for a long stay. Other than that, nothing really.
Having a bathtub in the room was good. The staff at the breakfast buffet were really nice and kind. Everything was smoothly done and the room was cleaned daily, which I appreciated a lot. Good value for money, very close to TU Graz university as well as 20 min walk to the center of the city.

When late for breakfast the options can be limited, but we still found what we needed.
Really good for a price-worthy stay on short distance to the centre of Graz, or just for one or more stay-overs on the road between locations, this hotel with 24 hour reception is a good choice. A supermarket is conveniently located on the bottom floor, and car parking or garage parking is available on site (in front of the door, paid at the street or for EUR 12 in the garage). Comfortable beds and good breakfast options for an agreeable price of EUR 10. Very friendly staff. Next time we need a stay-over on our business trip, we'll keep the Star Inn in mind.
