How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

The parking cost is a bit high.
Incredible environment and cleanliness of the place. Good wifi network and very accesible by public transportation. Great to have options to buy coffee and something to grab for breakfast. Will definitely go back.

A bit tricky to get to the hotel, because of traffic jam near Prater…
What young people such as students, children as well as others who are young by heart want! No fancy like 5 star hotel with phony people, but normal, a bit funny and very happy staff who will compete with each other who smiles more…😎

We had a wonderful stay in Vienna! The hotel has unique atmosphere, really nice breakfast and everybody is very supportive and friendly. Highly recommend!

It is a bit hard to eat breakfast at the hotel restaurant. The space and the design are more suitable for hi-techists and less for families.
The accommodation is very convenient for a family needs. The location is almost perfect, really close to the metro and the amusement park.

The only thing I’d note as a let down are the pillows. Far too soft. Maybe provide two per person so they can choose if they want one or more. The bed was so comfy but the pillows let the sleep experience down
The staff were exceptional, the rooms are clean and a really good size. The soap on the bathrooms is really good. We were just absolutely thrilled with this stay. All round fantastic!

If only the room had a refrigerator, even if of a tiny kind, it would improve our satisfaction dearly. I wonder why they dont use such a standard room item.
The breakfast was good. The rooms are supercute. The location being just next door to Prater is awesome. The subway is nearby.

Private rooms have huge windows, so it's lacking privacy, unless the curtains are completely closed, which makes a room quite dark.
Great place to stay in a nice location in Vienna. Colorful rooms, friendly staff, convenient shared spaces and a great restaurant upstairs.

A very interesting and at the same time wonderfully looking hotel right next to the Prater in Vienna. Great location, very courteous staff, comfortable beds, and tastefully decorated rooms. I highly recommend it.

The AC didn't work during the night which made it a little uncomfortable as opening the window meant all the noise from the luna park out side made it hard to sleep.
The room was very nicely decorated. The location is also very convenient, with the luna park just behind and the metro a few minutes walk away. Easy to get to.

Our room was too close to the go-karting track nearby so we couldn’t have the window open in the evening as it was too noisy and as the air con didn’t work it was very warm.

Very cool place to stay. Great design and vibe. The staff was very helpful and always smilig, ready to give you some tips about neighbourhood. Amazing breakfasts with a view of the amusement park.

The room was too hot even with the window open. Also, on booking.com it said that the hotel will charge me for my stay before my arrival, so when we arrived I thought everything was covered for already, but we actually had to pay in the hotel (I don’t check my bank often so I hadn’t noticed). Just an inconvenience, trying to look for the transaction in my bank to see if the hotel had charged me already or not
Great location if you want to explore Prater. The breakfast was nice. The designs in the rooms were interesting
