Lift/elevator, in most cases I decided to walk (which is not so bad), but when in full ski equipment, in a warm hotel, climbing to the second floor of the sand is sometimes exhausting and sweaty.

Location, Hotel accommodation & Facilities, Friendly staff and Food offer = Excellent . You can exit the hotel with the skis on and on first slope experience perfect slopes or powder trails. The breakfast where you don't know what to choose, the approach the staff has towards you, the personal touch of the chef who prepares perfect scrambled eggs for you in the morning, to chocolate milk and waffles for the youngest. The spa and pool area is lovely, but too small for the size of the hotel, so very over crowded.

Very good value for money! Staff clearly made a big effort to provide excellent service. Location is very convenient for skiing located directly at two lifts. It is slightly remote from the city, but the hotel has a shuttle service and they are very happy to drive you on request. Breakfast buffet was lovely and we were spoiled for choices.

Everyone speaks Croatian to each other, staff and guests. They all are. So if you’re not a Croat, you might feel out of place. We did. There’s no international vibe like in other hotels at all.

Ski access, spa, rooms, facilities for kids, hard to think of anything there’s not to like.

Err.. this is hard, let me think... Yes, I have something. Quite a few of Austrian wines were sold out. Why? I was looking forward to test them. Stock up! Otherwise nothing. If you have any problems with this hotel, you really need to see a specialist. Trust me.

Close to perfection. Great comfy rooms , beautiful views, super clean, everything you forgot home + more is in your bathroom package. Coffee/tea maker, some free cool beverages, daily chocolate "service". Skiing? Put on your pre warmed ski boots, grab skis open the door of the ski room and you are 10m from the gate to a ski lift of the wonderful Obertauern resort. Tickets? They sell them at the reception. Wellnesing? Lovely pool, 3 saunas, salt cave, outer jacuzzi (imagine snow flakes falling on your head while sitting in the hot tub. Magical.). Choice of tea, cold beverages for free. Fruits and nuts too. Fitness, massages, .. Kids? Superb. Playstation room, animation programs for the youngest, family activities room (billiard, table tennis, calceto. Family hours in the wellness center including saunas. Enjoy fine dining? Superb culinary 4 course menu paired with very good salads and cheese buffets. But what strikes your eyes and tongue is the heavenly deserts. And by the way, breakfast is equally superb. And free afternoon brunch. Don't count on loosing weight.

We had very strange view from the window: a wall with painted picture. I'm willing to believe that a five-star hotel can have rooms with such view, but they should hardly cost 450 euros per night!

The hotel is realy close to the ski lifts (Schaidbergbahn and Achenrainbahn). I recommend including dinner if you have such option. Staff, service, SPA, breakfast etc. - all at the highest level.

The hotel exceeded my expectations. Everything was lovely from the room and view to facilities and food. They offer this amazing snack in the afternoon for all guests which is so nice and filling. Especially for a family with young children who would go to bed early. The staff is very helpful and friendly. I couldn’t recommend this hotel more for families.

The food was so subpar, very limited options, and what they did have was catered to only a specific audience appeal. Not much in terms of vegetarian or gluten free. Some nights the grilled chicken was so salty, none of our kids ate it. They really need to up their game on the food. The dessert and salad was good but mains/ starter/ kids options- no

Food used to be a lot better with previous owners. very confusing invoice. they charged one ski rental too much. took weeks and 20 emails to get money back.
