There aren't many negative things to be said, but some constructive criticism goes a long way. Some rooms, particularly those facing the road could use better soundproofing on the windows. For the apartments, a microwave oven would be very convenient, especially for longer stays. I also loved how we got new coffee capsules with each cleaning!

Great hotel within a 5-7 minute walking distance from the Rathaus and the Parliament. There are two supermarkets nearby, a Spar Gourmet 2 minutes away and a Billa 5 min away. There are s-bahn stops 2 minutes away and the metro stations are 15 minutes away. Plenty of restaurants, cafes and pubs around Josefstadt to choose from. The property is completely step-free from the pavement outside and there is a lift. There is free storage of luggage in the hotel too. My girlfriend and I stayed there for 8 nights in total. The staff, particularly the receptionists were very kind and helpful, truly putting the needs of the guests first. It turned out that our initial room, albeit vintage and charming, was facing the street and quite a bit of noise was coming from it. And since we were staying for over a week in Vienna, we asked whether a change of room could be possible. Not only did they offer us a new room, but they also offered a superior apartment, which was nicer and more spacious! It was a really kind gesture, which I'll always remember.

Staff were always helpful and friendly. Pool room was great! The two floor rooms was unique and I just really liked the whole building overall. Some decor maybe is a bit tired in the rooms, but nothing sufficient to annoy me at all.

The room was fine but small. We could have used a small desk / chair in the room but not sure where you'd put it. We ended up going down to the cafeteria to work on computer.

The staff at reception was very helpful, I got my boarding passes printed etc and they had good instructions on how to take advantage of the great public transportation.

Hotel is in a good place, from airport about 30 min with a car, near attractions, shops, cafes and bars. In a room are mini bar with two bottles of water, two coffee capsules. Soap and shower gel/shampoo in the bathroom. Clean, warm and good smell.

It had a lovely bar area but no Bar in that area the drinks would come from an area in the kitchen ..just felt if they had a bar i would have sat and had a pre drink before going out then maybe a nightcap, but the others felt that your in Vienna togggo out and eat and drink so i guess so, they still had a bar just not in the lounge area ..

the hotels in a great location ,coffee shops bars all located just a 5 min walk ..we took the number 2 tram right into the center 4 stops and got it home later ..Reception staff Sabrina and Sarah were excellent very helpful..breakfast was pricey so didnt take it 19 euros each it that was nearly 100 euros for 5 of us ..we went out foe coffee and croissants.. would definitely, recomend ,my room was a superior which had a bedroomand a sitting room with a sofa bed but we were only 2 travellers but great if you were taking a teenager with you ,, arranged a taxi to pick us pat 6,30am together to airport taxi ontime and very helpful ..very good hotel

The towels seemed to be very old/washed so many times they were not very pleasant to use.

One of the sun blinds in my room didn`t function properly, once I put it down, I could not lift it up. Bathroom sink is outside the actual bathroom where toilet and shower are. I guess that was the only way to arrange the old building and it didn`t really bother me that much. Just keep in mind that privacy is limited. Parking garage is 350 m from the hotel but that`s also not a tragedy. What really really bothered me is the price. 32 EUR for 22 h of parking. Crazy.

Fantastic location, it`s a slow 7 min walk to the Rathaus. Lot of shops and restaurants around. Perfect public transport connection. The hotel is very nicely arranged, has its charm.

Wish they had a map showing where the hotel was in relation to all the different transportation types. We had difficulty orienting ourselves with bus, tram and U.
