Master bed was incredibly hard, but noticed in the morning that it was due to the top mattress was used for the fold-out couch that our kids slept on. This is NOT a viable solution for the parents’ bed…

It could have been nice if there was some room cleaning during the time of the stay, and if towels would have been replaced with new ones, and more toilet paper.

Great breakfast, many options, the design of the dining room is special and the staff are friendly. It is a family business and it seems they are working hard for it.

The family owned Uncle Jacks was one of the best hotels we have stayed in Europe! We loved it so much, we extended our stay. Included cooked to order gourmet breakfast, complimentary cable ride (summer), owner guided sunrise walk with refreshments at the peak over looking the village of Flachau. Very family friendly but also a great bar to hang with friends. Decor was so stylish and relaxing. Absolutely loved our stay!!

We had a fantastic 9-night stay at Uncle Jacks. The hotel itself is beautiful, welcoming and always full of life. The crew is extremely helpful and nice. The room we had was very big and we used the in-room kitchen to prepare most of our dinners, and when we were too tired (or lazy) to cook, the hotel even had 2 special food nights - burgers and a BBQ. The location is great, right in the center of Flachau, which is a great place to start day-trips from, and it is also also very close to the SPAR supermarket, which was helpful when we needed to stock up on groceries. Also, the breakfast was amazing! Tasty, diverse, rich, and always prepared and served with a welcoming smile.

Awesome hotel, had a great time here. The rooms are large (we even had a huge terrace), beautiful and well equipped; the location is perfect (3 min walk to the skilift + right in Flachau center) and the staff is just awesome - lovely people for who no request is too much. Cherry on top is the great breakfast, we even enjoyed a homemade salmon tartare. Can definitely recommend Uncle Jacks!

Absolutely nothing.

Uncle Jacks is a modern hotel, with some really quirky touches, it’s spotlessly clean with comfortable, stylish rooms. We had a room at the front, with a big balcony and a view across to the other side of the valley. The ski lockers and boot room were fantastic, and we were able to dry our ski equipment every night. The hotel has a sauna and relaxation area which is tastefully decorated and creates a calming environment, which is welcome after a hard days skiing. The breakfast is fantastic, with a variety to meet everyone’s tastes. The chef makes eggs to order and you can choose between fried, scrambled or a variety of omelettes or pancakes . Everyday there is something different on the breakfast table, care of the chef, I really enjoyed the daily surprise! We had dinner in Uncle Jacks a couple of nights during our stay, and everything was delicious! We can definitely recommend the steak and the Schnitzel. The bar is open from 3 pm and caters to a more sophisticated crowd. Its really cosy and creates a great atmosphere. One of my favourite thing to do was to sit on the swing whilst having an aperol spritz at the bar. The location was perfect for skiing, as the hotel is situated only 2 minutes away from the nearest ski lift, another benefit is that you can ski to the door. At the ski lift you can purchase ski passes and there are a couple of rental shops to hire any equipment you need. The ski bus stops by the lift which is really convenient if you want to travel to one of the other ski areas. We preferred to ski to the other areas, which is really easy due to the linked ski areas which make up “Snow space Salzburg”. (210kms of skiing ) There are bars, restaurants, a bakery and shops all within a short distance. The best thing about the hotel are the hosts, who are really friendly and super helpful, nothing is too much trouble and they really made our holiday perfect. We can’t wait to return, and wouldn’t stay anywhere else.

I can't figure out anything negative. The only and MINOR thing to consider is that a kitchen in our room could be equiped by some tees and cofees.

From the very first moment we felt very well due to the warm welcome. The staff was very friendly and useful during our whole stay. The interier is moder and cosy. Breakfest was just great. All together made our stay really great and exceed our expectation!
