How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

The shower has a significant and dangerous slope and you may slip. Actually I did but nothing happened Thanks Lord.. The apt is in an industrial area...

I had a good time staying. Not too far from attraction. Has parking lot and easy to find. Staff is really helpful and gave good suggestion to visit places.

It's a bit far from the city center and touristic areas, but still within walking distance.
Very accomodating hotel, quick to respond. I got to the city at around 2 am and they had the keys and instructions ready for me. Very clean room and confortable bed, great after 2 days of travel. The guy at the reception was very helpful and nice.

Bit far from the main sights. Need to use public transport though the bus stop is close to hotel.
Friendly receptionist who explained the sights to see in the city and how to travel to them.

No smart TV and only local channels, the room wasn’t cleaned during our stay (trash was taken out and towels changed when needed, but no deep clean). For the price, breakfast could be included, at least something light.
The design type, that it was far enough from the city center but not too far that it wasn’t easily accessible. The staff were friendly and accommodating and willing to help out.

We got a corner room with a low ceiling on one of the sides of the bed. Although it had that, the view we got kinda leveled it out, so I guess it worked out at the end.
Really nice staff, comfortable and very close to a bus station that took you everywhere you may want to go

The breakfast was nothing special, but not bad either.
We got helped promptly, and got advice and tips to tour the city. The room was spacious, large enough for the 5 of us. The bathroom was clean and functional.

There wasn't a lot of parking for larger vehicles. There is a lot of construction going on but I am sure this will change as it is finished up.
The breakfast was great! Great selection and had no complaints from kids. It was just what we needed to start the day.

The hotel is far away from City Centre, you need to buy city card to feel more comfortable
The reception workers were really nice, as well as canteen workers. The breakfast was so delicious with a large selection of food. Room was equipped with all the necessary devices, I was especially pleased with the large number of sockets. And the best advantage the view from windows was fantastic

The blanket was a bit thin for this time of year but everything else was great!
Friendly and quick check-in. Clean room. Public transport just outside the door with regular buses that take you to town in 10-15 mins.

Not a dislike comment, I was only here for three nights, room, only, so I can't comment on other areas, breakfast for example.
The receptionist was very welcoming and helpful, recommending places to eat, what to visit, writing on a map for me. The bed was a very comfortable memory foam one, tidy and cleaned each morning.

No complain would stay again.
Breakfast was very good no complain we all love it excellent bread choices also all others was very nice too. Hotel owner very helpful guide us how to use public transport to the city and back.

Missing some spoons and cleaning the bed headboard as there were some hand stains. It could have had some coffee or tea.
Very nice room, with most necessities, clean towels whenever we left some on the ground and garbage
