There seemed to be a problem with the WiFi during my entire stay of 3 nights.

The staff was very friendly especially Mr. Alex. I had requested the Japanese room which was a real treat. Close the airport express train station and fairly close to the lively center of Vienna.

Communication with staff sometimes tricky - my German is a bit rusty, but we managed. Unexpectedly had to pay on departure (thought we’d paid in advance).

Low supplies at breakfast - croissant dearth on third day. Shower open style allowed water to run over floor. Thin walls - noise travelled easily.

Nice sized room. Shower good quality. Breakfast good. Staff generally friendly. Convenient for transport links.

Honestly, it is ready for polishing, bathrooms can be outdated in some rooms but for a 3 star hotel it is good value for money. Rooms are a bit oldschool soundproofed so we have been listening audience for the passionate couple in the room next to ours. Breakfast is delicious but basic, there is enough food to eat but not a huge variety of a food selection. I don’t mind it but someone could expect more.

I love this hotel, it’s a perfect location for us but we’re not traveling for exploring Vienna but to spend time with friends that live across the hotel. From the first visit I enjoyed different room types and creativity. Breakfast is ok.

Bathroom was too warm and smelt a bit funky. Walls not very soundproof but I think it's more to do with the age of building as opposed to anything else. I feel like the photos shown are misrepresented as we didn't see any of these amazingly decorated rooms at all. Just a bit of a boring normal room. Again, that could just be because we booked through this website and not direct with the hotel.

Big rooms, comfy beds and lovely views. Easy access to tram too. Overall it was a good stay but a lot of money for what it was.

It does not have a working table and chair in the room.

The staff were very kind and excellent in their service. Although my flight was very early in the morning, they offered me a lunch box to take along to the airport. The location is easily accessible and is 20minutes walk to the Vienna city centre and 10minutes walk to the train and underground station. There are trams as well within 3minutes walk to the hotel

There were no tea and coffee making services in the room - although you could help yourself to hot water in the dining room. There were no nice coffee shops or bars nearby.

The hotel was very welcoming and the staff were excellent. It was nice and cosy and warm - was up to -10c outside. The location was close enough to walk to the centre.

A beautifully furnished room, friendly staff and a good location to explore Vienna. It is just outside the main centre but easily reachable in a 10-15 minute walk.

Review of Hotel Urania Vienna Austria mon 18.12.23: Beautiful hotel with themed rooms. Room 33 on the top floor with an inside view. The room was spacious and clean. We didn't have breakfast as we only spent 1 night. Close to a tram 0 and train stop. Daniella at reception is very helpful and friendly with tips for tourists. She guided us to some lovely Xmas markets during our stay. Belvedere tram stop O for a lovely Xmas Market. Stephansplatz train stop red line U1 is located in the old town with an Xmas Market and a lovely local atmosphere. We couldn't book a bus trip online as a tourist to Budapest. We had to book a train with OBB, which was double the price. The other train service option was cheaper but fully booked. The train stops are a little tricky to understand as a tourist. a safe is available

The rooms are themed, it was my second time staying. I returned as I wanted to try another room. This time we got 16. The room had an oriental vibe. Bed on the floor, so it wouldn't suit if you find it hard to get out of bed. This room was also beside the door for the lift which was very noisy. It is a quirky hotel, not your regular place.
