Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Very silent part of Salzburg, but a close proximity to the old town. Around 10 minutes walking. Lots of parking slots just in front of the hotel. Also the hotel had its private parking at 15 Euro per night rate.

Egyptafter 8 pm there was no staff at the hotel our keys stopped working and we got stuck outside the hotel and couldn't get it, we called the number and the guy came after 25 min but he told us we couldn't leave the room because he can't give us his keys, we had dinner planes and unfortunately we stayed at the room for the rest of the night. I suggest they use regular keys if the magnetic ones stop working or at least there will be someone at the hotel to help with these issues.
very friendly staff, the location was very good close to everything and very close to the train station, the room was big and clean. breakfast was good and the people were extremely nice. the area is quiet and relaxing 2 mins walk to the river and 6 mins walk to the gardens overall it was a really nice stay except for one incident

We loved the hotel. They upgraded our room to a larger room which was lovely. We really liked the location-We prefer a quieter area- rather than being in the center of Alstadt. It’s only a 5-10 minute walk to the center and we enjoyed walking along the river. We did not choose to have breakfast at the hotel rather we had breakfast at Fingerloos just a few blocks over, excellent food and service. Overall I would give this hotel and location a 10/10!
