Staff do not really smile, but I’m sure they like the customers like any other businesses.

It’s so close to the center and at the same time close to the train station. Rooms are huge and it has a nice common area.

We did not really enjoy sharing bathrooms and showers but in the bigger picture this was not an issue as the bathrooms were cleaned.

The property upgraded our room for no extra charge and the staff were very friendly. The property had screenings of The Sound of Music every night in the communal area.

No TV or other amenities inside the room.

The bed was comfortable and the room was spacious. Good location, 10 minute walk to the train station and to center of town. Laundry services were cheap and easy to use. Good for a short stay.

The room could have been more clean. Also, the lockers made noise when opened and that woke me up a bit. Same goes for when you closed the room doors.

The showing of sound of music every night was great. I also think the showers were amazing.

There was only one bathroom for 6 of us and that bathroom had the shower and toilet in. When everyone gets back from a day of sight seeing we have to wait to go to the toilet or shower.

The staff were really helpful and friendly. There is sound of music playing every night at 8 which is cool as everyone gathers around and watches. The beds are quite comfortable and clean.

Good stay if you are coming off the train late night, about 10 minutes away from the station. This place rides the line of having that cozy and warm feel we all love in hostels, while also being on the bigger end in terms of facilities so you can do your own thing without feeling like ur in someone’s living room. Beds are clean, free tea, and they play the sound of music at night which was actually fabulous.

The toilets could be cleaner. I got two welts around my body, I really hope it is not bed bug bites.

The rooms can get loud, and the number of toilets are less for the whole floor. The showers can be cleaner.

The location is handy and the hostel has a good vibe.

Room was clean and comfort, complemented by a helpful and friendly staff offering valuable travel tips. . Although we missed the paid breakfast, the complimentary coffee/tea provided a nice touch.

I didn't like that the entrance to men's and women's toilets are shared, it's very weird and awkward. Another downside is that if you stay in the upper bunk, the ladder is very uncomfortable to step on, and it's unstable.

It's very close to the train station and walkable to the major tourist sites such as Mozart's house, Christmas market, and most Sound of Music filming spots. The building itself is aged, but the amenities are quite new. There's a TV room and they arrange movie night very often.

Nothing negative to say, great place

We had the private room with bathroom. The room was huge for the price you pay. Everything was very clean and the hostel location is excellent being less than 10 mins walk to both the train station or the old town.
