Really great hotel in a cute little village. We had dinner in the restaurant which was excellent, and the staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. The pool was clean and in a very pretty room. I would definitely stay here again.

Warm room on summer, because there is no climatization. Dark room, not enough lightning.

The pool was good choice for these hot days. Breakfast was very good. Very clean bathroom.

The hotel has a great atmosphere which we really liked. The room was large and comfortable. There were lots of maps, leaflets and local information, including the amazing Morgenpost. That was fun :) The breakfast was excellent, with a variety of choices. We very much enjoyed the evenings on the upper terrace where we sipped local wine with friends. There is also a nice pool and wellness area.

The room was really hot when we arrived. The air conditioner worked and we turned it on, but knowing that guests are coming in a room directly under the roof on a hot summer day, I would have expected the staff to cool it a bit down. All the details felt like a good 3 star place, not 4 star

We stayed in room 204 which is on the same floor as the wellness. The room was very spacious, had a bath, a sitting area and a balcony. We loved the saunas, the pool and the jacuzzi. The breakfast was lovely, we ordered some eggs, you can juice fresh carrots and apples. We had a nice dinner in the restaurant. The day of our check out we were able to use the wellness after checking out. We had it all to ourselves.

No staff would answer us in the breakfast room. The female staff saw us but would not serve us. We had to go to front desk to seek help with the coffee machine. Everyone else was very nice.

This is a family-run inn next to the Danube River. Just opposite the river is the Stift Melk.We are fortunate to have chosen to stay here. You could stroll along the Danube river after breakfast. The hotel has 60 rooms with a pool and sauna. From the roof terrace, you could see the entire Melk and the Abbey standing alongside Danube River. Very beautiful. We will stay here again the next time we are in Melk.

The beds were more on the hard side, but still comfortable. As the restaurant had its own wine cellar, we had expected a longer wine list, not only two types of red wine to chose from.

Great hotel in a historical building. Carefully renovated. Everything felt "old style" but very fresh and well preserved. The restaurant served excellent Austrian food. Our room was spacious and no problem to bring our dog. The spa was really nice and we enjoyed good massages.

The parking was somewhat remote and required additional time for parking and moving luggage back and forth. Not a long walk from the hotel, but not right there.

The breakfast was very good and the seating was not crowded.

We found the breakfast rather poor for a 4star hotel. No hot food at all (except boild eggs each morning), and we missed the different home-made spreads (Aufsriche), which are so tipical for Austria. For a few days it's OK, but if someone stays for a week, it can get boring.

The room was large, clean, accessible by elevator (2nd floor). Super weellness with pool, saunas and whirpool, we took advantage of it every afternoon/evening after coming back from our excursions. On-site restaurant with good food and wine.

Fabulous location, historical building, very clean and cosy. Spacious, comfy room. Very good food. The staff friendly and helpful. One of the nicest places I have recently visited. We will be back.

The restaurant is closed Mon and Tues so we had to eat in the hotel donauhof beside and it was awful
