“A great shame we had only booked here for one night, we could have used this place as a base to visit Richmond and the Eastern areas of Hobart quite easily.
Plenty of space, we only used the downstairs as there were only the two of us. Both bathroom and kitchen were compact but had everything you would need for a longer stay. WiFi worked well considering the location.
Great to hear the wind through the trees and birdsong as about the only sounds around the area.
Host was extremely helpful and friendly lady who we spoke to at length before departure.”
“A beautiful historical building in the centre of a beautiful historical town. Pleasantly busy yet also relaxing. Friendly customers and staff. Convenient parking. Large and comfortable room with good amenities. Good menu”
“Great place to stay. Private cottage, quiet location, yet close to town. Excellent facilities. Comfy bed and pillows. Good shower. Continental breakfast was very good.”
“Superb attention to detail and the warm, friendly welcome made me feel ‘at home’ immediately. Breakfast, delivered in a basket, was a unique touch and the breakfast was superb! Unique setting in the Garden Cottage and beautifully and tastefully decorated throughout.”
“The loft was so peaceful, and we loved the serenity and outlook. It was very clean. We loved playing with Ruby the dog, and we fed the sheep with the provided food.
It was central to everywhere we wanted to visit in the Richmond area. .”
“This was the best accommodation we stayed in during our trip around Tasmania. The hosts were really friendly and helpful. The freshly made bread eggs and ham provided for breakfast was exceptional. The bed was so comfy and the view of the Richmond bridge from the window made it the perfect spot.”
“Beautiful setting right beside the bridge.
Quaint but roomy cottage with everything you need for a very comfortable stay. The breakfast supplied included freshly baked bread, bacon, eggs, fruit juice & a selection of jams & fresh fruit. Coffee & tea were also supplied. We had the use of the outdoor chairs to sit with views across to the historic bridge. A great place to stay with very accommodating hosts.”
