The location , decor , spotlessly clean rooms , and attention to detail was excellent. Ease of parking and a short stroll to beach or yen on a couple of minutes away . The most helpful and genuinely friendly hosts made us feel most welcome. The beautiful Bali style pool is big enough for all guests to enjoy and as a bonus there is also a hot tub . We can’t wait to stay here again .

We were only given one bath towel each for the entire stay. I text the owner to ask for more and got told no, you only have one for the stay. For the price and star rating, you normally expect two towels, or at least one for the pool. And the towel was not cleaned / changes for the four nights we were there. There wasn't much space to hang clothes, or to dry towels. There were also two guys living at the back of the property 'looking after it for the owner', who spent a lot of time walking around, it felt a bit weird. You didn't know when they would appear.

Location is spot on - 5 mins walk out of town. Can't beat that. The hot tub and swimming pool is a great combination even in winter! But the pool is ice cold - beware :-) Beds were super comfy, outdoor space was also great. You don't hear anything from the main road

Made us feel so comfortable and so welcome! offered us wine or beers as well ! This is the only place i want to stay at whenever i visit byron! So clean and such a good location from the town and beach!

Wow! Such an amazing place run by an amazing team! Went for a girls trip away and was not disappointed! On arrival we were greeted with smiling faces and a beautiful layout of the place with such an easy check in and check out service. We had been offered and accepted a very delicious cheese board by the managers whom were very warm and welcoming. We stayed in the apartment called, “The Pass” is amazing for two people. The ammenities such as the spa was our favourite spot to be, along with the most comfy bed! Such a lovely environment that we were also able to enjoy the night sitting by the pool with the other guests! Overall, we were incredibly impressed, 10/10 will be back and 100% would recommend to anyone and everyone!

Hoped I might be able to connect to Netflix via the room Tv, but were unable too, not that it bothered us!

Awesome location. Lovely, clean and comfortable room. Having a spa in the evening was an added bonus! We didn't encounter the staff the whole of our stay, which made our stay more private which I quite enjoyed. In saying that, reception is close by if we did need to speak to staff. Communicating with team Azur via text was convenient.

Msg to The AZUR Team or whoever this is. Upon arriving at your accommodation on said date at approximately 2pm I was unable to contact your establishment to enquire of arrival and how to check in. Short time later received a msg through WhatsApp which I rarely use so did not expect msg from that platform as booked accommodation through booking.com. Upon entering unit we discovered unclean unit with food items left in fridge, bin was not emptied and toiletry items had not been replenished. Further fans in rooms were filthy with dust, found TV was not functioning, outside spa was broken and so called security parking with code provided proved useless as gate did not close and for that matter was open when we arrived also your front entrance security gate was unlocked and ajar!! You must be a very trustworthy establishment of all outsiders but not to your guests!! DISGUSTING and a DISGRACEFUL EFFORT..and to date Azur still has not returned any of my calls….

    Comfortable bed. Spacious unit.

The shower needs work. Silicone peeling off and mould. There was no where to eat except outside which resulted in mozie bites. And some little side tables next to the couch would be great. Somewhere to put a drink. And more mugs. I had to keep washing them as there was only 2. And please buy better toilet paper. Sounds silly but cheap toilet paper is just yuck.

People were upstairs and we could hear every single foot step. They decided to, what sounded like a tap dance, at any given chance. There is CONSTRUCTION happening next door which meant at 7am EVERY MORNING there is drilling, banging and loud noises. You can’t use the pool because there are workmen watching your every move. Our room was a perfect location for them to see so we had to have blinds down most of our time there. We couldn’t access the bins to put our own rubbish away. It felt odd that we had to leave it at the front of our property.

Great location. Being able to walk into town without a long walk or commute.

I would not recommend anyone to book the front house. Misleading advertising on booking.com provides a price for the 3-bedrooms but on arrival they tried to charge per room rate. Nobody answered the phone numbers provided and no email replies either. They did waive the fee but it is misleading and disruptive to your stay. I understand the need for security but the noise in the front bedroom is disgraceful. Every time the sensor went off a pre-recorded voice announcing you are being recorded is blasted into the bedroom at any time of the day and night! We also booked on short notice a few days prior but had to cancel and re-book. We did not get a refund and was not able to re-book another night. Yes, I read the booking policy but quite frankly it does not pass the pub test. Instead, we had to pay for another night. We Overall, a poor experience by Azur and bookings.com.

Extremely loud construction site next door - awful management

Staying at Azur was a horrible experience. We weren’t notified of the ongoing construction site next door and when we asked to check out early hotel management were incredibly difficult to deal with. They are living in Bali and were non responsive until we asked booking.com for support. They refused to let us check out early and lied saying there was no way to put info about the ongoing construction on their booking.com ad or their own site.

It was clean and would have been comfortable were it not for the extremely loud construction site next door.

We stayed from Monday to Friday and apparently they don’t make up the room?? I had to specifically ask for clean towels etc and they said we don’t provide housekeeping however because you are a “long stay we will do it”. Really we were paying $1000!! We should have been informed of the construction next door had we known about it we would not have stayed! The units all look at each other so no privacy unless your curtains were drawn? The bathroom was huge however the vanity is tiny and it was hard to accommodate two peoples things. The decking around the courtyard is overbearing and the view is obstructed by fencing everywhere and the nail heads on the decking are starting to protrude which caught our feet several times so they need attending to. The fly wire door was jamming and became frustrating.

It’s in a good location a short stroll to town and the beach. The bed was very comfortable. Terrific size television. Nice feel in the room. Off street parking.

Everything as above. Staff, environment is not safe for women staying. Loud and noisy from 7am when the construction starts and it doesn’t end till 4pm in the afternoon.

Nothing this place is far from an acceptable place to stay. Worst experience I have ever had. There are 3 construction sights around the hotel and the pool has no privacy. I am a women and didn’t feel I could sit comfortably at the pool due to work man peering over on top of roofs while working. We also had a workman enter our room while we were getting ready to look at the switch box. He didn’t even ask. The staff are unhelpful and should even be there, there is no receptionist and only a lady that cleans the rooms. She mentioned she was unable to help us but sits at the reception desk. Very bizarre and a terrible place to stay.

Do not book this location if you have come to Byron Bay to relax. This hotel is located next door to a building site, where they start working at 7AM every morning during the week. The noice is at times horrific and makes it impossible to use the pool and the deck, amenities that you are in fact paying for. When we approached management regarding the noice and lack of information thereof, we were told we should have read the reviews on the website better , since a few guests prior, had complained about the construction before, and we should therefor have been aware of it. Really?! No, I do NOT recommend this hotel.

Villa is facing the noisy road. The photographer worked hard to makr everything look new and shiny, but as soon as you look closely at things (pool, kitchen, outdoor areas), it seems they could do with an update / deep clean.

Easy walk to beach. Owner was very friendly and helpful.
