Very convenient location for getting around the city. The room was clean and well serviced. Lobby staff were brilliant, very helpful and friendly.

There was some renovation on the 2nd floor and the first morning we were there, they were drilling at 8 am. It would have been better if they began working at around 10 am when guests were checking out. There were no instructions on whether to leave towels hanging or on the floor, only a sign for the door advising whether the room was to be cleaned or not. As the shower screen is not long enough, water escapes onto the shower floor and therefore the towels we placed on the floor were quite wet. We hung our towels on the shower screen in the hope that they would be changed or dry; the towels were not changed, on the first day. The second day we left them on the floor and then they were changed. The bed was made, but only half-heartedly, and although the milk was replenished in the fridge, and the rubbish was taken out, the tea and coffee were not and the cups were not washed. The WIFI died on the 3rd morning but was soon fixed, however, we had to continue to log in everytime we came back to the hotel. Attention to detail!

We have stayed at the Ultimo before and we love the location and the hotel is quaint. A 10-15 minute walk, from Central Station, opposite Paddy's market, and close to the Tram and close to Barangaroo. a quick walk into town, if you don't mind walking. The apartment was spacious this time and had tea, coffee, milk, shampoo, etc in the bathroom. Staff were polite and helpful and we could leave our bags at reception after check out. Thank you.

The location was fantastic, only a few minutes walk from Central station, and Darling harbour. The hotel was clean and comfortable.

There are lifts to the higher floors, however on Floor 1 where I stayed, there are still 3 or 4 steps to negotiate along the corridor. People with mobility issues or large suitcases would struggle.

Location was excellent. Walking distance from Central Railway Station. Close to Haymarket restaurants and walking distance from Darling Harbour. Room was spacious and very clean.

I stay at The Ultimo reasonably often for business trips. It is within 6-7 minutes walk of Central station, it is comfortable, and there are great places for a meal out nearby. This time we stayed while on holiday, and because we were there for several days, we really experienced the team and facilities. The Ultimo front desk team are friendly and always helpful. We had a large room with comfortable beds and a great shower. This is an old (historic) building that has been renovated, so it has real character as well. We loved the location - Ultimo, Chinatown, and Darling Square are all within quick and easy walking distance.

Although very small, the room was clean, with a tv and small fridge. The bed was comfortable with fresh sheets and towels. The staff were polite and friendly. Despite the location, it was remarkably quiet.

No restaurant at the motel, but there were plenty of authentic Asian restaurants nearby. Our room was on the second floor with elevator access, but there were a few stairs in the hallway that needed to be negotiated with our suitcases. You may be able to request a room closer to the elevator so you could avoid the stairs. Also, it did not matter to us but there was no on-site parking if you drove.

Excellent location, only a short walk (10 minutes) from Central Station. The staff were good and allowed us to store our suitcases safely while we explored the nearby area. The room was clean and quiet, and the bathroom was great. It was also directly across from Paddy's Market.
