I couldn’t seem to adjust the aircon and I found the room to be too cold. There were no blankets stored in the cupboard. I had to use a blanket I keep in my car. Also there were two of us staying in the room and only one towel supplied. I had to ask for another towel. There were also no cloths or teatowels supplied to wipe up spills from making tea/coffee. The room, especially the bathroom door could do with new coat of paint. It felt “run down.”

Due to food intolerances, we brought our own breakfast, so we can’t comment on the hotel breakfast. The hotel is in a good location and easily accessible to everything we needed to get to.

The meal from Charlie’s restaurant was horrendous. I had one bite and couldn’t eat the rest, I actually felt insulted being served such a meal.

I was supposed to have an ocean view corner room. It had a bit of an ocean view but was not a corner room. Meal selection on the restaurant was poor and very limited. Charlie's Restaurant use to have the best Seafood buffet, now there is no seafood on the menu at all.

I was running late for checkout time and had several staff members knock and try to open my door. The safe for after hours check in would not open as admin had sent me an invalid key.

I liked the downstairs buffet. Very convenient. And, the view from higher level rooms is quite nice. Facilities were very clean and well looked after.

The bed is very uncomfortable, needs replacing To get into the shower you have to squeeze between to bath tub and the toilet, this is a huge risk of slipping and falling when getting out of the shower

The mattress was so hard. I didn't sleep all night. It doesn't matter how great your room is, if you can't sleep!! I need to buy an eye mask as the fire alarm above, near the bed, flashes all night, which unfortunately is annoying for me.

They have to lift their cleannesses and mix right fragrance while mopping to avoid low quality Asian hotel smell (not trying be to racist here)

- I didn’t like that the shower screen was so close to the toilet and if you didn’t look as you were going in and out of the shower you may get hurt or something. - I didn’t like the housekeeping coming into my room one of the days I was there and clean it even though I didn’t leave the tag on the door handle to let them know to clean it or not. - Wish there was a PowerPoint next to the bed. - You had to leave the aircon on and it was freezing and didn’t feel that could adjust it, I had to keep my jacket on inside. - The restaurant food didn’t taste nice, I tried the beef brisket and rice and the “beef” wasn’t beef it was all fat and the vegetables that came with it tasted disgusting - People hanging out in the carpark across the road. - Only way to / from the airport was by taxi or shuttle bus.

The view of the ocean to the right and the mountains to the left , as I had a room on the side of the hotel. The walk along the beach was nice. 10min walk to nearest bus stop or otherwise catch a taxi.

The wifi did not function properly and we had lot of issues with it. We also paid AUD $50 for an early check-in, and the hotel sent us a message that we could collect the keys from the locker on the reception. But when we arrived, we could not get the key from the locker and even after calling their helpline, we could not get the key before 2 hours. Our flight landed early morning at 4:30 AM and we reached the hotel by 5AM but the staff comes in at 7 AM, so if you are really looking for a smoother check-in, reach the hotel by 7AM.

The view was pretty good. The rooms were of a good size, and the bathroom was OK
