Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Room and facilities were clean, friendly staff and excellent email communication. Due to medical visit to Randwick Children's hospital it was an ideal location. We also booked a parking space which was also incredibly helpful.

AustraliaRooms a little noisy, not terribly, but noticible at times and hot water very slow to come through in our ensuite. Plenty of it, just took a long while to get right.
Room was comfortable, as were the beds. All a good size with all the facilities you need. Close to the Randwick tram to the CBD and plenty of free street parking.

United KingdomThe guy on the front desk was so wonderful to me . I had lost some of my possessions on the train and he help me find how to fill out a report . He even knocked on our door before clocking off to check if we needed anything else . And I got my stuff back eventually!!!

United KingdomWe really enjoyed our stay in the triple room it was a great size. For functionality perhaps a few more shelves in the bathrooms and an ottoman at the end of the bed to rest extra suitcase on.
It was a modern refit in a period property and nicely designed too. The location was perfect for all amenities and not far from the city and beaches. The team were accommodating and friendly.

AustraliaThis is only a minor thing, as our room was in a spot that meant we couldn't avoid this. The room we stayed in was right near the front of the house, so we heard everyone out in the foyer coming and going.
The room was modern, clean and cozy. We appreciated the extras like the bar fridge and the tea and coffee. The bed was comfortable, and the tv was large; easy to see and use. The shower pressure was good and hot. The parking we reserved, and it was very handy and affordable, in a good location as well.

AustraliaI was concerned when booking that not having a bathroom would be an issue however, I didn't need to wait to use the shower and there are multiple bathrooms on the floor.
I loved the the property and the decor. It's very close to public transport and Circular Quay is a short 20 min tram ride. There was all day parking and the beach was a short drive as to get Bondi took about 15 mins in the car. The bed was super comfortable, reception staff were very helpful and went out of there way to make sure our stay was comfortable. There is a hairdryer available at the reception desk. I used the washing machine and dryer as we stayed for 4 nights and that was great. The kitchen available to use as well. The room was quite and the property was very clean and other people staying where friendly. It's a great place to stay close to the city to explore.

SpainEverything is very nice, one thing that could be improved is the shower knobs: hot and cold water have separate knobs but the hot one gets burning hot very quickly, and it's kind of hard to regulate with the cold one (either super hot or gets cold very quickly). Lighting in the room was good with a big main light and one small light on the night table. However, a light directed to the sink/mirror area would be a big plus!
The Alison Randwick is in a nice location near Randwick main street with many restaurants and shops, close to the south part of Centennial Park, and close to the university campus. The room is spacious, silent, and with a very comfortable bed. All appliances in the room are working perfectly and everything is very clean. Also the staff at the reception desk is very kind and helpful.

AustraliaOn the main road and shared bathrooms. One of the staff were quite rude. It was around 8pm Sunday night, lady with short blonde hair. I was going to the front door to collect my Uber eats, I was staying on 2nd level. As I was walking down the stairs she shouted “are you Samantha” which I answered yes, and she said in a rude manner “you need to get your food, go to the door and get it”. Which I replied “yes that’s what I’m doing” and then she slammed her door. Wasn’t a very nice experience.
Loved how modern and sleek it is with the plants also.

AustraliaI received about 8-10 emails. Bathroom had hair and water everywhere. It’s as if someone went and pulled all their hair out and stuck it on the wall and shower screen. Went to take a shower and someone had left half of Warragamba dam in there. Exaggeration but was puddles everywhere. Also heard everything that went on in the hallways from cleaners to people taking a shower or going to the toilet
