    Didn’t have long enough.

So peaceful and private, didn’t see anyone around. It was exactly what we needed to disconnect from busy life.

The pot holes in the roads, but that's not your problem

From the fresh flowers to the comfy bed and pillows; from the fresh bread provided and the wood for the fire stove to the beautiful location, everything was catered for, even a sweetie jar. Thank you.

We stayed in the yurt inspired cabin with a spa on the deck that overlooks a creek - magical!
    • Leisure trip

The only thing I would say is that the mix of colours inside and some of the decorative pieces seemed a bit random and reminded me of 'grandmas house' - if the decor was updated a little, and a bit more on-trend, I would give it 5 stars plus all round! However, that didn't take away from our wonderful stay.

The location was amazing - so private and surrounded by rainforest which was divine. The verandah of our yurt inspired cabin overlooked a little creek which was just magical! Loved the little bridge leading to the cabin, the spa on the deck outside with a view of the trees (bliss!) loved the addition of homemade bread - thk you! The double shower, with two shower heads was also a treat :) Loved having morning coffee with a view of the surrounding rainforest and the creek below... Peaceful, relaxing and rejuvenating.

Kettle switch didn't work, nor half-flush on toilet and a couple of lights. No big deal but for the price things need to work well,

Location and seclusion excellent. Breakfast good, dinner too, but a bit much food for one meal.

There were people driving around our cabin quite frequently (I think a couple of staff members) - sometimes getting out and walking around - which was only a problem because of the outdoor spa and shower! They were driving around us while we were totally naked in the bath. We didn't use the outdoor shower because we were worried they'd see us. There wasn't much of a view which is fine but we were hoping for a little something.

Not much interaction with other people which was perfect. The complimentary beer, champagne, bread, jam etc was awesome and a really nice touch. Beds very comfy, spa and shower really nice and the fireplace was great. Alice was very friendly even if it was all via text! Good selection of DVDs and TV worked fine.

I guess the downside with the whole indoor/outdoor part is we found it difficult to keep the little bugs out of the spa and although re-assured in the guestbook that the natural spa water of the mountain may be off colour the brown water doesn't appear all too inviting (though a generous serving of the included radox can turn it a bit greener and help you put it out of mind).

Lovely place, discrete whilst not being completely off the beaten track. The floating bed was an interesting point of difference to most places as was the indoor-outdoor-indoor layout of the building, starting with the living room and kitchen in one end, then a living space that opens to the outside with sliding doors on one side and plastic curtains on the other containing the day bed, spa, fireplace and bbq before heading through to the bedroom with generous ensuite. Plenty is provided, from a delicious artisan local loaf of bread to a bottle of champagne and the whole place was nicely set-up for our arrival. It really is a brilliant place to relax from the world for a few days in quiet isolation. (well, quiet if you discount the sounds of nature, which in a rainforest are numerous).
