the place was rundown and looked in dire need of repair and a coat of paint wouldn't have hurt, there was a huge hole in the hallway roof and mould in the shower, the carpets were thread bare. I couldn't leave the palce quick enough

The beds were springy, felt like sleeping on bones. Kitchen wasn't great, smelt and sticky floors with shoes. Definitely needs a renovation. But for the price I understand.

The heater in the room was great, staff were nice. Get what you pay for. If your looking for a quick stop and hardly any sleep, you got a good option.

The place was filthy, I pulled out my sleeping bag and used it The toilet/bathrooms varied in cleanliness, I've seen worse.

Location was perfect as I was using bus service Price was very cheap.

The kitchen was really dirty, looked like there was old food in there that had been there for years. It was generally falling apart with leaky roofs and dampness. In our room we had a leak overnight, the guy came to offer us ‘help’ and said he ‘felt bad but there wasn’t anything he could do’. He definitely could and should have offered us a refund. We had to stay in the room over night as it was late which I do understand but it was still not great and lucky we had an early flight to catch. We also booked a 6 person dorm and ended up in an 8 bed. luckily there was only 2 other people in there.

The location was good to get to the airport. When we first arrived the beds were kind of comfy so we hoped for the best.

The venue is falling apart. It smells, dirty and embarrassing that we allow our overseas visits see and live in this space.

The front end staff were responsive and provided clear instructions on where the best walks were.

The smell from the truck full of rubbish next to the hostel was awful. It’s not clean, the fire alarm went on two times in one day. It’s dilapidated.

cleaning hasn’t been done for ages, the kitchen was dirty as hell. Beds were not comfy, thin mattress, uneven floors so I swiped all night long in my bed. Roomate in other dorms made noise all night, yelling, running in the hall in early morning, watching TV out loud all night, absolutely NO respect for others.

a bit dirty, no staff present the entire time I was there, I saw some other guest come in and their bed was used - not the hostels fault but on the phone the response was “what do you want me to do about it?” which I find unacceptable. I travel full time and I’ve never experienced anything like that

Lovely place! Old building but the cleaners and staff give their best to keep it clean and tidy. Pete is very accommodating and tries to help where he can. Definitely recommend staying here!

Needs some stuff done to it. Coat paint. Toilets cleaned regularly. At least have curtains that shut. Reminded me of a swat house. Come and go as you like, leave it how you like.

The place was ok for the money BUT it was really crowded and at 5 in the morning there were a lot of people making an incredible mess that woke up me and my partner. The hostel should definitely have much stricter rules and kick out people that do not respect them.
