Mattress was a bit uncomfortable. Husband said “saggy”. Workers installed new carpeting above our room with tap-tap-tapping during one morning which was annoying. Would’ve liked a heads-up from the staff. Not all rooms have an ocean view. Few 2-bed rooms available. No pool but not a deal-breaker.

Beautiful property. Near restaurants in the Lantern District. Wonderful views of the harbor. Easy parking in an on-site lot. Friendly staff. Great breakfast. Didn’t try the afternoon wine and cheese however.

I loved the hotel. It was very nice and the views were phenomenal! The breakfast was great! And the service was great also. This was one of my best vacations. I absolutely loved the area!

The beautiful views ,Our room and staff made our stay memorable. We enjoyed Our Breakfast in our balcony watching the beautiful sunrise and waves! As me and my wife celebrated our 19th anniversary, We loved it ,So we decided to stay another night. Our Romantic beautiful Room and stay was excellent!!

Room rate has gotten a bit out of control, but I guess if they can get it then that’s what they do. Can’t imagine a multiple night stay here at these prices. Bathroom could use an upgrade; take out the dated jacuzzi tub and put in a walk-in shower.

Many stays here over the years. Always clean; helpful and pleasant staff. Excellent location; walkable to scores of dining options.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Blue Lantern Inn; its charming atmosphere and picturesque surroundings made it a memorable experience. They have bad neighbors. A building next door is in terrible shape & vandals were destroying property yesterday. Also, the city owns property next to theirs and it has been a mess for years.

The hosts were awesome at front desk. Checking included a glass of sparkly and a lovely welcome. The location was perfect & walkable.

Beautiful location and a quaint boutique hotel. The only con was the TV wasn’t working even after resetting and had very few channels and there is no internal kiosk for emergency needs such as pain medication. Otherwise, a beautiful and peaceful place with nice staff.

Clearly older building because as soon as we got in our room I noticed that someone was taking a shower because you could hear the water through the pipes in the wall. It was extremely loud.

the only down side was that it was supposed to have a part of the ocean view , turned out to be barely a view and it didn’t feel like it was worth the amount payed .

the property was at such a pretty location , once I knew where it was , it was an easy guess that it’d have a beautiful view . the people were also super kind . the bathrooms were elegant too .

There was nothing about the Blue Lantern that I would change. Pretty close to perfect in every way. I just wish we could’ve stayed longer.

Very seldom when you travel does a hotel exceed your expectations. The Blue Lantern and especially the wonderful stuff accomplished this. My wife and can’t wait to return. Thanks again for making our stay so enjoyable. CJ Demos

The Blue Lantern in was an absolute delight. I travel to the area quite often and the Blue Lantern is my go to place to stay. The rooms are beautiful, comfortable and well-appointed. The staff always goes above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and the location can't be beat.
