Advertised with a pool and Foxtel had neither

Not your fault - but noisy neighbours, especially a group who arrived about midnight, woke us up with their door slamming and standing around talking and laughing - then jumped back into one of the cars and obviously off to get food. Returned some time later - same thing - loud chatter, laughing, slamming doors. We couldn't get back to sleep. Also - followed instructions on the wall near the shower on the first day, about leaving towels on the floor to be taken and new ones put in....came back at night to find our towels had not been changed and were damp so we then had to dry them out and used them for the rest of our stay. Tea/coffee etc was not replenished - had to go and ask for more and beds were not made. This is fine but it would have been nice to be told that the room would not be serviced for the duration of our stay when we booked in, and then we would have known what to expect. Apart from that - the room was clean and comfortable.

Our room was very clean and the fact that we could open the windows and get a breeze through was great!

office was not open very frequently, couldn’t park car right outside room but the convenience of location outweighs this

At least a bench of some kind in the bathroom to put things on would have been helpful, we thought it strange that the hand washing sink was outside the bathroom.. Further and this is not a criticism of the motel or the staff but the constant door and boot lid slamming of the of the inconsiderate neighbours was quite frustrating at times, especially at 5am in the morning..

We didn't require breakfast due to my wife's ongoing health issues, we provided our own meals as we have to carefully watch what my wife eats.. We did like the cleanliness of the room and it is particularly spacious which we found very good.. The close proximity to the hospital was very good as there were several trips back and forth following my wife's surgery..

parking is not designated to your room so we were unable to have the car right at our door . I have had recent surgery on my shoulder and was travelling with my elderly mother so having to cart luggage was a bit of a pain

the position is excellent for hospital appointments when the parking at hospital is a nightmare . lovely food located across a quiet road . I had to change the dates of my stay at the last minute due to appointments changing and the manager was very helpful and only to happy to help

Is pretty noisy. Can't do much about traffic I suppose but people talking outside late at night wasn't the best.

Check-in was easy and friendly. In a great location for visits to the hospital. Rooms were good size with comfy bed.

Hand basin outside of the bathroom which meant going into bathroom to dry hands or dry face after morning ablutions. It also doubled as a kitchen sink for washing cups and glasses. Television speaker not good quality for older ears but we would have used TV subtitles except universal remote appeared not to have that feature.

The location was across the road from a number of restaurants with different cuisines. We tried 3 of them and happy with the meals. Parking was under cover which was good with the rainy weather. Instructions were well signed perhaps to OCD level. The hot water in the shower was just hot enough to not require any cold water tempering. The heat lamp lights in bathroom were great.

Aircon didn’t work and so didn’t the bathroom lights/exhaust fan / heater lights. Just to add I didn’t complain to the owner as it didn’t bother me too much but I’m sure he would of fixed it if I mentioned it to him . All is good though

A lack of cleaning in some areas eg. Utensil draw had crumbs, dirt ??? in the tray section. Lounge needs replacing, as all peeling vinyl & covered up with a sofa cover....TACKY! The room needed a bit of TLC!
