Room could have been cleaner.

Great spot in agnes water. Nearby lots of eateries. Room was perfect ( fairly basic!) and had good shared toilet facilities. Each evening had a different event and you could rent bikes

The bathroom next to the private rooms has no lock at all on the shower. There is a small room with a toilet which has a lockable door, but the room containing the shower cubicle simply has a curtain. You can’t see through the cubicle, but I did constantly worry while showering that someone would walk in the cubicle. Once while showering people did walk into the bathroom and use it while I was in the cubicle.

A great place to stay for your trip to Agnes Water. Great location - a short walk from the beach and very nearby to the local shops and restaurants. Our private room was comfortable and had air con. The hostel chef cooks cheap dinners each night - we never took part but I thought it was a nice touch. Good social events each night. The staff are great and the guests are friendly. Lovely relaxed vibe. We felt right at home.

Recommend booking the room with ac because one with just a fan got super warm. -Lots of long term people -Kitchen wasn’t anything special -Surf boards not free to use

People staying need to clean up after themselves and do their own dishes, not leave it for staff to do the next morning.

Rooms were great and clean. Lots of facilities for cooking and leisure.

We didn’t arrive until close to 10pm & had feedback from a team member that the kitchen was closed and we weren’t able to use a kettle. Perhaps in future consider that late arrivals might require facilities upon arrival.

Lovely hostel in a very good location. Easy parking, nice room, good aircon. Shared bathroom but only between 2 other rooms so no issues. There is a fridge in the bathroom which was v handy. Kitchen is well equipped. Quite busy but a nice vibe. Table tennis table was appreciated. WiFi actually worked which seems to be a rarity in australian hostels. Good value compared to other places.

Pool table has seen better days.. it would be ideal to have a ceiling fan also in the lounge area.

I stayed for four nights and i didn't get along with the staff at all, they all seemed a bit pissed?I originally paid for the sunset tour, the staff told me there is a market only for today, I should join that. They asked me two times what was really nice I thought and I said yes both times. Later on they told me they leave in a couple of minutes, so I got my phone from my room, had a quick pee and they were gone... Other stuff couldn't get them on the phone. It was kind of sketchy.. I had to get a refund for the sunset tour too because the car broke down the next day. Nearly all of the people worked there or somewhere else. Spent an evening at another hostel and felt much more welcoming. Mattress was really sagging

Felt like I was intruding a bit as I was in a dorm with a lot of long-term guests. Very untidy dorm and a cockroach in the bathroom
