How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

it was a little shabby. There was no hairdryer in the room from what I could see.

I couldn't get into reception and out the front to where my to my Taxi at 7am was waiting because it was locked. My taxi took off without me. It was very stressful because I spent 10 mins trying to work out how to get out of the motel area with my 84 year old mother and all our luggage. I couldn't jump the fence. I couldnt find anyone on staff to help me or a phone number to call for help. The Reception staff had booked the taxi the day before for 7am and didnt advise me that reception would be locked and there was no where to return the door key. They told the taxi would come to the front door. But if it didnt to go to the side gate. Pretty difficult to do when you have all your luggage and a frail 84 year old - trying to be in both places at once and both locked. I had to wake another motel guest (randomly knocked on a door) to get help to get the gate open and gave him my key to return on my behalf. We had to chase down the road to stop the taxi because it had given up on us. We needed to get the taxi to the railway station for the Indian Pacific Train trip on time and this nearly didnt happen. Everything else about our stay was fine.

Con. 1.Parking is slightly restricted with spaces 2. Disclosure or highlight events that may interrupt stay and rest 3.Rooms need updating - the diy paint jobs and fix it jobs retract from what could be a nicer hotel, the foyer is by far the most updated feature PRO. 1.Convenience of its location in the city 2.Polite and cheerful staff 3.Clean and tidy 4.Restaurant with good food .
Location is great, parks and events centre close by, unfortunately we booked over a weekend that had a EDM night in the park...up until 10:30pm listening to heavy base with a 4 year old.. glad it was only 1 night. Would have liked a heads up from the hotel.!! But it happens and it's the city centre on a weekend Good sized room with the basics, shower was good with fresh towels daily, rooms were clean and tidy, beds were comfortable and staff were very pleasant and helpful The restaurant downstairs is a fantastic Italian style, ordered once on our last night and would definitely visit to dine in next time we are in Perth Spent 3 nights in this hotel and would definitely come again when prices are better and festivals are not scheduled

We had not been advised of refurbishment going on when booking or in advance of the stay.
Due to being unable to change the dates of our booking, we had to add a separate night"s booking at the beginning. In spite of an acknowledged email from me explaining that it was all one stay, on arrival late at night, we were allocated a room mid refurbishment, which was really bad. After speaking to the manager the next morning, he moved us to a much better room, which was more than adequate and good value for money. The staff were very helpful and resolved our issues quickly. So first impressions not withstanding we had a very comfortable one week stay.

Very basic motel and fairly dated.
This motel is in a great spot, easy walking distance to Optus stadium. The free parking was great and staff were helpful and friendly and the place was nice and clean!
