Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

AustraliaWhen arrived the reception guy was rude and made us feel like we were aliens, I do not tolerate that type of bullying and i told him this. Which he did not like and asked for a bond of more then the actual reservation. I felt like it was a racist attack, I've managed a Motel for 8 years I know his type of attitude, it's not acceptable. But I didn't scoop to his level and I respected the premises like I always do

AustraliaThe room needs some attention with a broken drawer handle in the kitchenette and drawers that did not open and shut easily. The extra bed (a foldup one) provided was very uncomfortable as the mattress was so thin. It was also hard to fit this bed in the room without moving furniture to accomodate it
The location is excellent and it is easy to access with a car. It was easy to check in after hours and the instructions to use the car park were easy to follow. The views from the room were great and the sound of the ocean was geat

AustraliaThe AC in the lounge room was on but barely worked. It was quite stuffy which wasn’t pleasant being hot. The rollout beds were terribly uncomfortable. A few little add on’s would be handy with families - like a water jug, ice container. Room was mostly clean but there was rubbish left on the window sills & the sliding doors are very clunky and hard to open, close & lock.
Pool area is great, location is fantastic & staff were lovely.

AustraliaPillows where so soft and the car park is difficult to navigate. Also reception hours are werid so it makes it difficult when you have a late check in (this process was easy) and then have plans the next day as I had to purposely take time out of my day to go back to the hotel to check in as the hours where only when the event I was at was on too.
Convenient location and easy to get too. Clean and friendly staff.

Australia- I didn't like the fact that you have to buy cleaning products to clean before you leave. When you're staying for only a short period and you paid more for a "hotel service" , it doesn't make sense that you have to buy cleaning stuff to clean. They will charge you if you don't, and that s not good. I understand for a long period of staying . -Also, there is no change of linen at all, and you have to pay for a clean one... - You pay for parking as well - You will be charged for everything else
