This place requires you to take your own rubbish to the basement at the end of your stay. For the amount of money we paid for a room, we thought this was pretty unreasonable (especially as it was hard to find the bins, so we spent a while searching for them).

We had an absolutely fantastic view from our apartment and it was nice and quiet. The bed was comfy and the place was clean. The room also had a laundry machine which is a handy addition.

Have stayed several times before but found the unit this time the best, Everything very clean and tidy. Beachcomber is close to all amenties including beach, trams, shopping etc. Love it here.

Only one bed side table. Would be great if there was another for the left side of the bed. Plug sockets faulty, located behind the bed but in the middle - plugs wouldn’t stay in and kept falling out. Sauna wasn’t working which I was looking forward to. Not serviced apartments - you will have to pay for extra clean towels etc. You need to wash the dishes and take the bins out or you could be charged. WIFI didn’t connect for the first 4 days, then did connect as soon as the hotel receptionist came to look, then kept disconnecting through out the days. Not ideal if you are working on a laptop from the apartment. I probably wouldn’t visit again because of this as it chews up too much of my phone data when using hotspot.

Bed was large and comfortable. Amazing view of the ocean. Was able to spot whales from the balcony and view lovely sunrises. Room was bright and spacious. Kitchen is adequate.

The apartment needs some upgrades the bedside lamps are not great for reading, the bed was disgraceful one side was sunken had to sleep on the other side the 2nd night, really needs new bed.

2 beds being out together, I woke up with a bad back. We had to purchase our own amenities, There wasn't daily room cleaning. I.e general adding shampoo, making of the bed.

Facilities and rooms a bit dated, Tiles around indoor pool very slippery, non slip flooring would be better. car park was difficult to locate initially plus have to pay extra for parking. A bit noisy however would expect that due to location

Overall was good value for money and great location, next to beach and Cavill ave and our room had great views I was concerned after reading some of the previous reviews however we did not experience any of the problems other people did. Beds would be an issue if travelling as a couple as just 2 singles pushed together

Loved the location, staff were great, security was awesome. Renovations being done at hotel so outdoor pool was closed but close to the beach so that wasn't a problem. Unit could do with a freshen up in the bathroom (paint coming off walls etc) it was clean, tidy and comfortable with a great view so that wasn't a problem either.

The apartment we stayed in was comfortable but quite dated. Gave us flashbacks to 80s family holidays and 90s schoolies!!! Could really feel the split in the bed.
