Cleaning could have been a bit better but this was addressed with the manager and should be better.

This was our second stay here. You can see the beach from the balcony it is just across the road and through the park. 5 mins walk. There are 3 beaches, the lakeshore, sandbar just outside the inlet and the surf beach. Fishpen Takeaway is 2 mins walk down the street and is next door to Cranky Cafe. Cranky Cafe bake the best Turkish rolls that we bought fresh each morning to make our own brekky rolls.

The floors where constantly sandy from the moment we stepped in to the moment we left it was sandy even after vacuuming and sweeping multiple times

The location was amazing it was so dog friendly and it was a 1 min walk to the beach and cafe. The accomodation was very warm and felt like home

We liked everything about the property, although would’ve loved a ground level apartment for the dogs but the balcony and the parks/beaches right across the road was very helpful.

Minor issue -External steps to upstairs unit (3)- ideally we would prefer a ground floor unit next time. Unit was very clean other than very dusty under main bed.

Cleaning needs more attention. Despite the floors being mopped prior to our arrival, they were still very dirty. Kitchen could also have been a bit cleaner. A bit of basic maintenance in the unit is also needed.

Wonderful location close to the beach, lake and a short walk to the township. Unit is comfortable and having the fenced yard was excellent for our small dog. Check in process is quick and easy. Communication is also great.

The only thing I could think of was the TV. It was not smart and the sound was shocking. But then again, if you spend most of your time doing activities you don't need to worry about that.

This is our 3rd stay in Merimbula. All in different accommodation in Fishpen. This has been the best by far. We had the upstairs unit with a large balcony overlooking the park next to the beach. We were just a few minutes walk to the lake and beach. The unit was a good size, light and airy. We had the doors open to the balcony all night and slept to the sounds of the waves, The kitchen is well fitted with a great stove and very good fridge and the pantry was a good size.

Location was perfect for a beach holiday. Everything was great! The shower was perfect, the bed was comfortable, the kitchen had all the utensils needed. The lounge was spacious .

All tiled areas were extremely slippery. And that if we used the 2nd room we would be charged extra. Should be charged less for only being allowed to use one room. I thought we paid for the whole apartment.

the bed in the main room had crumbs and hairs and all sorts at the end of the bed. it didn’t feel clean at all, I broke out in a rash from it also.
