The tyres squealing from the hospital car park behind units. The hospital needs to block off the openings in the concrete wall for peace of neighbors

It is a little old~ a pipe burst in the wall and leaked in bedroom. Cleaning is also only once a week and may be hard to get in reception hours if you’re out during the day!

Heather and Warren were great hosts, very helpful and respectful. Room was very well equiped, Bed was very comfortable, room was clean and presented well, The pool needed to be leaf cleaned , the spa unit connected to the pool does not work, but good size pool, great for an evening cool down, open till 10pm.. Close to bus route and easy walk to main CBD about 1 and a half kms along Lake Street, also very easy access to the Esplanade by the sea, 1 block over 10 minute walk, which is an awesome place for a stroll or take the kids for bike rides and a swim, in the awesome water play areas. Has a great coffee / food place also in the same area. Great pickup location for most activity providers, Kuranda Rail, Skyrail, Dive operators, Island Tours etc.

Just a street back from the boardwalk. Lovely quiet area and close to restaurants and shops. Staff were amazing.

Constant tyre screeching noise from the new hospital carpark next door only metres away. Had to keep outside ranch slider closed and made the outside seating area a no go. Being on the third floor with no lift lugging suitcases not fun.

No kitchen knives to cut veggies with. The bed was ok but not comfortable. Could do with a few upgrades like softer mattress or mattress topper.

My wife and I arrived by shuttle bus at around 8.45 pm. We were standing in the rain trying to get into the security gate after being given a wrong entry code and could not contact the owners. We didn't enjoy having to carry our luggage up and down 30 steps.

The owners were very friendly and helpful. I was impressed with the excellent security around the apartments and there was plenty of off street secure parking. The kitchen and laundry facilities were very good.

The bed queen bed was comfy. The manager was thoughtful and offered us two rooms if one came up.

The open plan living room and kitchen area was spacious and comfortably furnished, enough for us (guests) and visiting relatives. The apartment was clean and everything was there that we needed. Off-street carparking is safe and convenient. Our room faces the busy Lake Street front, but the road noises were not intrusive at all.

Booked for 2a2c and online said 1 bed a day 1 sofa bed. There was no linen for sofa bed and had to get it from the reception and make the up the bed myself. not a huge issue in the scheme of things but the sofa bed was terrible. Lumpy and saggy. There is no way 2 people could sleep on that. The pillows were so bad we went out and got new ones from spotlight.(we drove so to took them home with us) Also the fan in the fridge was so loud when it kicked in that it could be heard in the bed room and made it hard to sleep on the sofa bed. Only small hot water system. Put on 1 load of washing on warm wash and I had a shower with my toddler and the hot water ran out when my husband went to shower. Small cockroach crawled on me while I slept. Thought I was imaging things but found the squished body in the bed the next morning. Saw some small ones in the kitchen.

Location. Lots of undercover parking. Pool was lovely. The Queen bed in the bedroom was good to sleep on. Apartment was a good size

The room needed maintenance for example light bulb in bedroom wasn’t working, lampshade bulb needed replacing, bathroom shower screen door has huge crack making it a hazard to open & close, toilet flush wasn’t working, sofa lounge was not comfortable to sit on, curtains ripped, no rice cooker, no hair dryer even if it was specified on the website & pots & pans were scratchy etc.

There was a impatient neighbour scouting an opportunity to shout at the top of her noise if happen to be outside the apartmemnt on the corrridor speaking on phone! :-) But, we just ignored this person, maybe she is suffering from some illness where she could not tolerate normal noise level!

Excellent location. Brilliant facilities. Amazing and friendly staff. Beautiful pool till 10 pm. All kitchen items if you love cooking. Great airconditioninig. Washing machine and dryer. Spacious rooms! In short, we just loved this place for a short stay.

There was nothing wrong we cannot fault this place

Central plaza apartments was beyond our expectations, we were on the ground floor right next to the pool was a great spot for the kids swimming, the beds were so comfy, there is aircons in every room, it is self contained had everything we needed. There's is also a bbq in the pool area which made dinners easy, we will definitely stay here again and recommend to family n friends. There is a bus stop across the road with a bus every 5 minutes into town it was a cheaper option than ubers to and from.
