Not long having knee surgery, I wasn't keen on the walking distance between the rooms at night after dinner and a few drinks in the restaurant.

Complimentary local bottle of wine, rooms were neat and tidy, beds comfortable, nice views of the course and staff very welcoming and friendly.

Was told upon booking 3 weeks prior that a cot would be no problem, but we didn't have one at check in. The young man said he would send someone straight over, waited an hour, nobody contacted us and we had to get to a chemist in Renmark before it closed over Easter and we had plans to visit the Barmera markets, so we left and hoped it would be there after dinner when we returned. This was not the case, apparently they couldn't find one and didn't think to let me know before my 2 year old needed it for the night. Thankfully the manager on Sunday night got us one and was very accommodating. The safety chain lock on the door of room has been installed the wrong way around, so if the door is not locked an intruder could easily push on the door and open the chain, and my 2 year old could open the door and get out easily (straight into the carpark, in front a main road). There was a cold draught around the front door also. We thought there would be more takeaway and cafes and shops in Berri then what there was, plus many places closed for Easter Sunday. I thought the Riverland was encouraging people to visit post-flood.

Location was picturesque by the golf course. The complimentary items were a nice touch. It was pretty peaceful. The beds were above average from my experience.

The pool was unusable due to duck faeces both in and around it. Dinner at the tavern was a little disappointing.

The apartment was very comfortable. (However its proximity to a busy road meant hearing traffic). The tavern was a great setting for drinks.

Our friends paid about $30 less for their room apart from the fact they didn't have hot water the rooms were identical. I had done the bookings and requested a more expensive room. Liked the complementary wine and biscuits which sort of made up with the now slightly dated decor and tired furniture.

The position of the motel, though on a 42c day it was far too hot to walk to the club house from the motel section.

The pool was disappointing. Nobody used it while we were there. There was duck poop on pool deck and in the water.

We walked over to tavern for breakfast. It was delicious, well presented and well priced. Great wiFi, comfy bed, air conditioning was excellent cleanliness of room and bathroom was exceptional Car parking undercover was appreciated

Kitchenette is in a thoroughfare between the bedrooms, had to squeeze through behind the person at the sink. Room is not mosquito-proof. Killed many mozzies inside and still more kept finding their way in. We had an upstairs apartment and there didn't seem to be an obvious parking spot for this room, so we just parked by the door.

Room was extremely comfortable, well appointed and made it a pleasure to stay. Kids loved the pool, especially as the pool had shade. Everything was very clean, tidy and well appointed. Every single thing in the room worked as it should, from the spa to the taps to the lights. Slept like a log.

The Tavern / Restaurant is excellent. Loved dinner there as arrived early evening and didn't want to go travelling elsewhere. Breakfast was amazing. Views of the golf green from the room was beautiful. The number one thing above all else were the staff. From the charming Nick at check-in, to the staff at the bar and restaurant, to the cleaning staff for the room - all had smiles, were friendly, helpful and nothing was too much effort. Bravo to your staff training program. My two nights here were wonderful. Late check out was appreciated too.
