Very pretty, set in a vineyard with lots of open space. We took our two Labradors and they had a great time. The hosts were friendly and helpful and not intrusive. Their micro vineyard produces some really nice wine too!

Loved the location and the scenery. Could have sat on the balcony watching the mountains and the stars for days, whilst enjoying some mountainside wines 🍷 Hosts Jane and Shane were delightful and so lovely.

Nothing! It was a beautiful relaxing stay with everything we could have asked for in the cottage.

The view was breath taking! Breakfast was plentiful. The best bacon and eggs I have eaten in ages! The hosts were super friendly and most accommodating to my little dog.

The perfect get away to unplug and unwind. An incredible weekend spent escaping the craze of life without disruption and surrounded by the beauty of the location. Topped off with a private wine tasting - just bliss! Thank you so much Jane and Shane. I look forward to next time.

Highly recommend staying at the Blue House. Jane and Shane are generous, welcoming hosts. The accommodation is a great size with stunning views. We enjoyed a wine tasting at the cellar door, followed by wine on the deck while the sun set afterwards. Would recommend bringing food to cook for yourself for dinner the night you arrive as it is a bit out of town and the kitchen is well-equipped. The indoor fire was perfect for winter and wood was provided. The bed was super comfortable, the place was tidy and the breakfast provisions were generous. Could not fault our stay and would definitely stay again!

The Blue House is cosy and secluded, right next to the vineyard and cellar door. Although we arrived later than planned, the owners very kindly gave us an impromptu wine tasting and a complimentary glass of wine each, and we were also able to buy a bottle right from the cellar door. The house was comfortable despite it getting cold outside, with a wood burner and ample firewood of different types. The comfy bed also had 2 electric blankets with independent heat settings. The card and board games were good fun, so we did not mind having no Internet access. The self-service breakfast items in the fridge made for a generous fry-up, with lots of supplies on hand (pepper, cooking oil, etc.). The ground coffee in the fridge (in addition to coffee bags on the counter) was a nice surprise! The kitchen was well equipped with a toaster oven, 2 hotplates, microwave, espresso machine and kettle. All in all, there were lots of thoughtful touches to make our stay comfortable. We will be back to stay again in summer for sure :)

Loved staying amongst the vineyard and the cottage verandas was a lovely place to sit and watch the sunset, stars and sunrise. Breakfast was also supplied and we enjoyed walking up the mountainside in the morning.

The location was great. Nice and peaceful. Accommodation was as advertised. Loved it felt homely and the host were lovely too. Just sitting on the porch enjoying the view and watching the moon rise over the hill and the Kangaroos roaming the paddock was simply lovely. Didn't miss any phone or TV reception as it made you appreciate your surroundings. Breakfast was a great bonus too

Personally I liked the remotenesses and not having wifi/internet. I thoroughly enjoyed the tranquility. If one relies on connectivity, this may not be a suitable place.

A serene, beautifully appointed property. It was comfortable, cosy and inviting. My puppy was welcomed and had a wonderful time playing in the fenced yard. I particularly liked the homely touches, such as the rocking chair on the balcony. I also enjoyed a wine tasting at the Cellar. Cooking facilities were good to prepare a simple meal. The breakfast provided was excellent.

Beautiful location, very peaceful. Continental breakfast was provided, as well as eggs and bacon. Hosts were friendly, but respected our privacy. We had a fantastic stay. Loved the wood heater.

Everything about this stay was perfect. Owners were lovely. Place is in a beautiful location and the views are to die for. Our stay couldn't have been more perfect.
