Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

AustraliaFinding your way by foot into city is a little complicated when exiting hotel and it would be good to have clear instructions somewhere. There was only one bath towel each for two night stay isn’t enough. The coffee mugs are too big for the coffee machine .

New ZealandNo microwave, cutlery was at a minimum with spoons only Beautiful lobby bar however there was no entertainment e.g. tvs playing sports so we had to go elsewhere to watch this Weird spot in the city and hard for ubers to find us for uber eats or to pick up/drop off Aircon was super loud so couldn’t leave on overnight, kept playing up by turning itself on/off

Modern, clean, stylish, comfortable, great facilities. Hotel gave us late checkout until 12 midday for free! We were then able to use the facilities and showers in the leisure area as we had a late flight and we’re able to store our luggage all day.

AustraliaTea and Coffee in the room, there was only 1 coffee bag. The milk wasn't even a new carton and was open. The side lights on the bed, you couldn't have just one on. If you turned off the one side they all turn off. Also, the bottom sheet on the bed didn't fit, wasn't even tucked in at the bottom of the bed.
The staff were very pleasant. I was extremely happy with the woman at reception when we first checked in. Very warming and had a nice wee chat with her.
