Obviously not the hostels fault but a lot of the guests leave dirty washing up in the kitchen. they do their best to clean it up but shouldn’t be their responsibility.

Great location and value for money. Friendly staff. Lots of social areas. We were lucky with our room and didn’t get noise from road or the courtyard. Plenty of toilets and showers, never had to wait.

Bathrooms could have been cleaned more regularly. Wooden flooring very squeaky and loud. A carpet would deafen these noises. Although not the fault of the hostel, there are alot of homeless people and drug addicts right outside the hostel. A few have tried to enter the hostel which is a security concern. The rent has just increased quite considerably at the hostel. Single room was small for what I paid for. The laundry machine was deficient.

Staff very friendly and professional. Whenever I had a question they would help. Location (Northbridge) convenient. 5 mins from CBD. Single room (street-facing) was relatively quiet. I could not hear anyone in the rooms beside me. Bathrooms were empty most of the time I never had to wait my turn. The showers were separated for each person allowing for privacy. There was space to hang your clothes, towel and a shelf to put your toiletries. Bathrooms separated between men and woman. Plenty of social areas. However I noticed that many older people and workers are renting out rooms long term here so it is not really a party hostel but somewhere where people are actually living. Places to hang laundry Vending machines. Sim cards. Overall this is a decent hostel and I would definitely stay here again.

It's in the heart of all the clubs so it was constantly noisy. The room had cardboard tapped across the top of the door to block vents which did nothing.

It was easy to check in and convenient as we had just come from the airport.

Some beds aren't that comfortable (others are) and the kitchen fridge is always full (kitchen could be bigger, I think) Also the owner wants you to disinfect your hands before you can touch Mail

It's cheap and I liked the common area, there is a free billard table. All in all, I can recommend the Hostel

Some of the staff wasn't very helpfull, gave me very little explanation when checking in,.. But overall decent, basic place to stay

I stayed month in the private room, it's small, but decent. The only thing I was missing was a wardrobe. I enjoyed my stay, the kitchen was big en all facilities were clean, it's perfect to stay a while if you are in Perth fir a few days/weeks

The bathroom facility seriously needs refurbishment. The rooms are tiny and the bunk beds at the top has no safety railing. There is also no air conditioning in the room making it tough during summer as there is no windows for air circulation.

i went in summer and the room were SO SO SO hot . there is a fan in the roof but is not enough they should get AC and there is no proper space for dry food bags , all the bas were in the floor , and the fridge they have is not enough for all the people always hard to find a spot

Bunk beds has no ladder it makes tricky to climb on the top. 8 bed room has 6 locker. Not enaugh electric plugs in the room. The street is very noisy so make sure you have ear plugs. The kitchen area is small for this amount of people especially in busy hours. Lack of space in fridge. Also not a lot of table to sit down with your food. Only 4 sink is in the kitchen and a lot of people leave the dirty stuff in there. Try to use the facilities in less busy hours.

Kitchen storage for food should be cubicles around the walls leaving the dining table free. Currently just dozens off shopping bags on the floor and on the table taking up space in the dining room. No cups to be found in the kitchen. Not enough spaces to lounge or hammocks outside for a hostel with 80 rooms. 3bd dorm room needs cubicles for storage instead of a clothes rack, 3 draw bedside and table which were useless and took up space needed for luggage. Floor boards squeak alot but that's the age of the building.

Customers in the hostel can be very nasty and do not wash their plates etc…staff cleans and tries to keep the place clean but some customers are inconsiderate.

Located right in the town centre. You can walk everywhere from there. Our room was a decent size and had a fan which helped cooling down the hot environment. Staff really cares about keeping the place clean and they give it a good clean every morning. Staff at the desk is kind and helpful. The garden is amazing and it’s the place where everyone gathers at night to have a chat. There is a lovely quiet area upstairs, a big tv room with comfy sofas and enough space in the kitchen for everyone.
