Due to the central location, it was very loud until around 4am which meant we didn’t sleep much (it was the weekend so the area was very busy).

Probably the best hostel I’ve ever stayed at! The rooms are laid out in a really good way giving you more privacy than normal in a shared room, kitchen is massive with great storage facilities, and the ensuite bathrooms are a good size with great pressure in the showers!

They are not really enforcing cleanness in the kitchen and people leave their dirty dishes every day. Cooking in the evening is a nightmare

Being in true hostel style, if you want to store food or drinks, this is done in the large shared fridge's down stairs. Should this room of had a little bar fridge, it would have made the stay even better, as not having cold water easily accessible was the only real negative I can think of, otherwise great stay.

We arrived 3 hours early prior to our check in time, and were able to check into our room straight away with no issues. Excellent location, right in the heart of surfers paradise / walking distance to everything you need. Good value for money, we booked a private room for 2 people which had it's own bathroom and it was roughly $200 a night, should we have had 4 people (as the room has a double bed and a bunk bed with two singles) this is cheap as chips. Photo's don't do the room justice, very spacious and nice and tidy.

Bedroom has aircon, comfy beds and nice view as well. Nice facilities with pool, tables and a big kitchen. Best location in Surfers Paradise!

The mattresses were really bad and we miss a table and chair in the bedroom. In our opinion the common areas were dirty. Special attention to fire stairs and lift.

One of the staffs at the reception seemed new and took long time to process the check in. We staid there for two days but she made our card key accessible only for one day so we could not use our key on the second day and had to go back to the reception. The music from the swimming pool and other rooms could be very loud until the late night.

Location to surfers was amazing! The pool was handy while beaches were closed and muggy as anything outside. Air con didn’t really work so the room was a boiler room

It would've been great if there was a USB charger next to the regular plugs and if the whole locker could locked rather than only the lockbox in the locker.

Great proximity to surfers paradise beach, restaurants and bars. The staff were also friendly and helpful.

No toilet brush in the bath room, Its really good if they put a folderble chair near the bunker beds. Some safe lockers are without the batteries.

We went down to the Island Buffet breakfast Sunday morning and thought the service was good but the food needs work. I love it when the food is better then my own cooking. But the hot breakfast was cold. The bacon was burnt and like cardboard which ruined everything else and our appetite. For the price we really expected more. And their choice of juice selection needs work.

Really enjoyed our stay. Love the rooms. Love how fast the service was on checking in and out. Parking was a added bonus for us right next door. Location was central.

DON'T go to this hostel if you want to socialize! They send you away at 9pm in the kitchen and there is no where else you may sit with your friends and talk. Drinking alcohol seems like it's not allowed anywhere except you order it in their restaurant/bar. My bag got stolen in the kitchen and they did nothing about it. I think the staff threw it away, but it was labeled right. They didn't even look at the camera's when I asked for it. I love to cook so there was a lot in there. Around 60 dollars gone!! Thankyou BUNK.

Stayed for 3 nights and the room was not cleaned even once. Common toilets were dirty and the hostel over all was pretty ordinary. If you are a solo traveller then this might not be a good option as there weren't any activities to engage with other travelers. The staff did not even tell about any planned activities or coupons which were available. Will not book this again!
