I was a bit intimidated by the gravel road to get up the steep hill to the cottage, but after a couple of times I got better at it!

The cottage was fantastic. We loved the balcony and the views over the hills and of the sunrise/sunset. The cottage had everything we needed. It was very quiet and relaxing. My wife took 700 photos and loved it!

There was nothing we didn’t like.

The location was peaceful and tranquil with amazing views. Looking out to Lake Eildon, together with the beautiful mountain views was outstanding, giving us some much needed relaxation. The Cottage was lovely and clean and very welcoming. The views from inside, are just as amazing as outside. We found the cottage to be very cosy and comfortable and enjoyed watching the sheep, kangaroos and all the different varieties of birds from the balcony. We look forward to returning, hopefully soon.

The mattress was a bit tired.

The most amazing views of country scenery, water, and sunsets. Cosy little cottage with all the basics you need for a family holiday. Easy drive into the Mansfield township. Although the pool was cold it was so lovely to be able to sit by and watch the beautiful landscape.

The long dirt driveway is a little bit hair-raising in places (lol). Be aware that there is no internet or smart tv, which was fine by us but may be an issue for some. Mobile reception is good though.

The sweeping views and rural hilltop location were fabulous and so peaceful. The cottage was simple, clean, comfortable, and well equipped.

The road and paths are very steep which maybe difficult for older people.

WE loved our stay, very clean and all we needed for a beautiful weekend away with the boat on the nearby lake. Fantastic views and is very relaxing.

Driveway is a challenge, but I guess for the privacy it was perfect. There were a a few tiny flying insects and mosquitos, even though we didn’t have windows open. But again, it’s summer.

Absolutely beautiful property. Unit was cosy, well equipped and relaxing. Although the pool was small, it was perfect for a quick dip in a hot day. Unit was comfy and adequate for a quick getaway.

Though we were late at checkout it was because of our baby that was not settling down due to new place and we ddnt wanted to leave place unclean but host was standing on our head to leave because they had to go to melbourne for some reason.

Not enough tea and coffee. Sent message asking for more got no response. Only other issue for my friend she felt like the room may of been dusty as she woke up both mornings with server Hay fever

The flow of water from the bathroom sink was a trickle only. Think it might have been blocked 🤷🏻‍♂️

We loved our stay. The view was spectacular and the property was exceptionally clean and well-maintained. The cottage (Wattle) was well-presented and contained everything we needed for a beautiful stay. The main bedroom contains a large king-sized bed with extra blankets in the closet if required. The second bedroom contains two king single beds. Both bedrooms enjoy beautiful views from large windows with both blackout and sheer blinds. The kitchen includes a stove/oven, fridge, and plenty of tableware / cooking implements. The dining table accommodates 6 and the lounge area contained two sofas and a tv. There was no Netflix available but there was a collection of DVDs and a dvd player - we weren’t too bothered by the Netflix situation but it’s something to be aware of if that’s important to you (eg have kids that need entertainment). Given that the cottage is stepped, with steps leading from the bedrooms down to the living area, it probably wouldn’t suit families with toddlers FYI or those with mobility issues. The bathroom contains a spacious spa bath and shower, which was extremely clean. There’s also a washer and dryer with detergent supplied. The outdoor pool was also very clean and well-maintained and my children enjoyed swimming - thought it wasn’t heated and therefore a bit cold for me! All in all we loved our stay and can’t wait to visit again :-)
