the contact and guidance regarding the late check it might have been a little clearer. IT was hard to contact yha and speak to someone on the phone to give us reassurance regarding check in so late.

Can be quite noisy from the yard, but does generally quiet down at a reasonable hour. It seems like a popular place, which we suffered a bit from on arrival day, as check-in and luggage room was quite busy.

Good location within walking distance to everything. Has pool and many places to chill outside in the yard. A/C in the room is a big plus. Kitchen was nice, although also a bit crowded. Bathroom to room ratio was good

To make the bed, I arrived very late at the hostel and the girls were already sleeping, so I couldn’t do it because it would have made too much noise. I had to sleep as it was. It would have been easier if the bed had already been made.

Check in/check out took a long time as there weren't enough staff on reception.

The room was clean and beds were super comfortable (probably the best I have had in a hostel dorm). The water pressure was great, air con worked fine, staff were constantly cleaning the kitchen too.

Long walk outside to toilet / showers Toilets SUPER hot and humid (I know its carins but more ventilation would have been nice) The Non-Stick pans need binning, scratched to death and Teflon flaking off into food. Get some normal frying pans. No plugs / lights beside bed and only 4 sockets for an 8 bed dorm.

If you are travelling with your own car, it can be tricky to find a parking spot for the all day if you don't want to pay.

Good location, the staff was very nice, the kitchen was big and there were a lot of space to store the food and to cook ! Everything was clean (rooms, kitchen, bathroom). It was a really good stay.

The room was incredibly small. The kitchen was poorly supplied with pans, etc. There wasn't even salt or pepper.

Kitchen utensils are mostly worn out so I always failed to make decent egg fries.

As compared to other accommodations YHA is by far the best quality in terms of cleanliness. Shout out to housekeeping staffs.

Unfortunately, like most hostels in Australia, their management has saw fit to hike the rent to more than double of what it was just last year; since literally no one's income have doubled in the past year, neither myself nor anyone I met was able to stay there for as long as we wanted, and I hope greedy managers start to understand that ripping backpackers off will ultimately hurt everyone. We literally had to cut our trip short due to unreasonable cost increases.... Two other issues in the hostel was the lack of plugs by the bedside, and the need to use your key card to get into the toilets...

This is a brilliant hostel, ticks all the boxes; rooms had great ac, clean bedding and comfortable beds, showers clean and powerful, and a very well kitted kitchen.... The pool was a nice bonus...

Advertised a BBQ which then didn’t go ahead with no explanation or apology from staff. No hand towel in bathroom and bath mat quite grubby.

Bedside lights for all bunks. Lockers for bags. Good sized kitchen with plentiful storage space for food and regularly cleaned.
