No bathroom door, privacy is necessary and the showers water was hard to adjust the water to a comfortable temperature towels are old and no longer fluffy.

It was all good. Not used to share facilities but certainly could not complain about cleanliness and ease of access.

The hotel was exceptionally clean, the staff efficient and friendly. Small kitchenette and lounge area for shared guests was great, plus a fridge to store some perishables. Great restaurant attached to hotel.

We went to a nearby cafe for a nice breakfast. Liked the scenery and close proximity to little village shops and cafes. Lunch at the pub was good.

Checking in at the bar wasn’t sign posted anywhere and while I was waiting in line to check in the girl at the bar seemed to not notice me and carried on serving some guys who pushed in front of me. That was just a bit annoying but not a major deal breaker. There’s also no lift and two flights of stairs to get up with a pram. And no room number on the room, but it was the only one, so again not a big deal.

It had easy parking, the restaurant has a wide selection of good food and the service was quick. The room was so much better than expected, really modern and spacious. We stayed with our 7 month old son and it was ideal. The bathroom is big too and very modern. There was no deposit needed and to check out the next morning we just had to drop the keys in a box, which was nice and easy. Would definitely re visit and recommend.

We had dinner in the restaurant which was nice. Comfortable room. Very convenient because we were picked up for hot air balloon first thing in the morning just across the road. Very nice timber floors and art deco ceilings upstairs too.

Shared communal bathroom but was clean and the heritage styling in the upper floor was a nice touch with all the antique furniture made the place.

We did a Hot Air Balloon trip from Canungra and great spot across the road from the 4:55am meeting point was very convenient. The meals at the pub are great!

Well the building is old…some of the fixtures in rooms need a tidy up. Even just a coat of varnish or similar to the bed head, dresser etc. but freshly painted and louvred windows…

Wood burning fire, great. Good pub grub. Complimentary dessert to share. The old historic photos around the hallways, interesting. Clean warm rooms, not flash or trendy, but fine for the overnight stay we had. Handy tea and toaster
