ALL Pillows were terrible. My daughter’s bed was on a slant. Breakfast was terrible! Selection was extremely poor. Croissants with ham were extremely dried out. Ham had dried and wrinkled all around the edges. They looked like they’d been there for hours and this was at 7am!

Location. Staff were friendly and helpful. My bed was very comfortable.

The room was a lot smaller than I thought, however, the comfort of the room was exceptional - complete with the high tech amenities including an ipad and Chromecast TV.

The location of the Capitol Hotel was right in the heart of Haymarket - so much to see and do! If you are in Sydney to visit the gorgeous Capitol Theatre, this is definitely the hotel to be in as it is a 1 min walk away with very secure security. Room was lovely and ambient, complete with high tech amenities too.

The housekeeping quality in the room decreased significantly over the days, with one day our bed being just "stretched over" rather than made.

Excellent location, two steps away from the tram line and at the center of Chinatown. Despite being in a very busy zone, the hotel was quiet and we could get a good night's sleep. The beds, size of the room, and bathroom were comfortable.

We were located at the front of the property on the street and the tram was quite noisy throughout the night.

There was nothing we didn’t like.

The rooms and bathroom were great for an overnight. The staff were amazing and that made the stay even better. It’s next to light rail that can take you in many directions. For us it was a 5 mins light rail ride to work.

No body wash when we needed to shower the next morning but we compromised with shampoo. It was a little late to contact housekeeping

Some minor issues- toilet seat loose, TV didn’t show regular tv channels, no basic cutlery or bowls for basic meals.

I didnt like the self check in as I was just returned from 3 weeks in Japan and was immediately steered to a computer. The young staff member treated the situation as if she was a computer Helpdesk and did not welcome me and explain the hotel facilities at all. This lack of personal warmth and hospitality will not do your business any favours.

The location and cleanliness was very convenient as I live in the country and needed to be close to the Country Trains.

single lift a bit of a bottle neck sometimes but other than that everything was awesome

Only one lift/elevator, and no other option to get to reception or hotel rooms e.g. can't use the stairs as they are alarmed, so wait times can be a bit of a pain, especially when only going up or down one floor! Not sure if there is a way to de-alarm the stairs so they could be used for able-bodied persons just to get to and from their rooms?

Lovely gem of a hotel, really comfy rooms and great location. The water in my bathroom also wasn't super hot for the first day, but I asked reception to ask someone to take a look, and once I was back from my day out, it was fixed. Very impressed at the quick turn around and helpful staff.
