The location is ok, close to the city. We hired a car, it's easier in Cairns if you want to explore all the beauties that the region is offering. We had an apartment which was ok, we had the chance to wash our clothes and to cook some meals (which is not bad if you travel for 40 days). We had to spend some times in the apartment, due to heavy rain and floods. likely the hotel is not situated next to rivers. The staff is super kind.

The air-conditioning was located in the room so that the cold air went directly to the bed, which was very uncomfortable. To many written warnings in the room including threat of penalties - really unpleasant. Difficult to reach the reception open.

Spacy room with small private yard. The kitchen was very well equipped including microwave and kettle. Good location in the town, within walking distance to the downtown.

The pool is tiny and only suitable for little children. Operating hours during the Christmas holiday were very limited.

Spacious apartment with 2 bed rooms and built-in wardrobes. Large living room with kitchen and dining area. Apartment is well equipped (laundry facility and kitchen appliances) and very clean.

The rooms are nice. Big, comfortable and well-equipped. It's clean and quiet and an easy walk to everything in Cairns. Good security parking that is easy to access.

Remote for the air-conditioning didn't function and we spent one uncomfortable night but was replaced the next day. The info on booking.com said there was a coffee machine and a few other things in the room which was incorrect 🤔.

The location was great, central, easy walking distance to the main shopping area and eateries. Loved being able to relax in the spa & pool each day. Room very spacious with an area to air, dry things.

That were able to extend our stay when the cyclone and subsequent rain stopped any planes from flying.

Nothing major, but there were a couple of things. The mattress in the bedroom are quite firm, which i'm not used too so it was a bit of an adjustment. And the air con unit in the bedroom didn't work quite as well as the one in the living space, but was fine. I found running the ceiling fan for a short while distributed the cool air better.

Overall i had a pleasant stay here. It had everything i needed, but being a solo traveler i didn't need much. However here you'll find a microwave, plates, glasses, cutlery, corkscrew, scissors, washing up liquid, clothes washer & dryer, air con, tea & coffee, etc. It's about a 10-15 minute walk from the centre of town (i'm a slow walker) and there is a Budget/Avis branch just down the road. Plus the ocean water is only a few minutes walk. And also due to my flight to Cairns being very delayed, i arrived way outside of check-in time, but that wasn't a problem and staff gave me prompt instructions for after-hours access.

The terrace was open to the car park and bins. And the AC barely cools the room.

Location is super convenient, apartment is spacious, nice little pool garden. Easy to get keys for late checkin due to flight disruption.

The shower was only partially enclosed so water got into.the bathroom.

Had comfortable beds, very well stocked kitchen, and huge outdoor patio. It was only a few blocks off the popular area and great value for the money.
