Very wet when we stayed (unusual for Charleville) so long dirt driveway and parking next to cottage very muddy and made access a little difficult

Lovely one bedroom cottage just outside of town, very well equiped

    Marvellous Bush Cottage Stay

Location was absolutely superb, right in the bush with a starry night and kangaroos outside. The cottage was charming and spacious. Our host Debbie was very kind. Charleville is a pleasant outback town with a great bakery (best bread since Sydney) and lots to see. We recommend the Botanical Reserve drive for beautiful Mulga trees and a visit to the Corones Hotel.

Nothing, only the fact that, due to commitments, we could only stay for 2 nights. Next time it will be longer.

The location, value for money, far better than a motel, well equipped, Deb Owner, really nice, friendly and helpful. The cottage had everything and more, including a washing machine, a real bonus, and it was only a couple of kilometers from town.

There was no wifi, but that wasn’t a deal breaker, would readily stay again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage was very spacious, clean and has a very well equipped kitchen. Debbie, the owner was very friendly on arrival. The cottage is in a lovely setting with kangaroos and bird life as neighbours.

    Nothing really!

Lovely cottage, just one on site but well away from the caravan park. Basically everything you could want. Full size fridge, great washing machine. Only 5 mins from town. Very quiet. Plenty of wildlife around. Great to sit outside watching the sunset. Owners were away when we stayed, but we were well looked after.

We had no complaints about anything.

The cottage was spacious and very comfortably appointed. Interior was exceptionally clean and modern. We were able to spread out for a few days on our road trip around SW Queensland without falling over each other. Most motel units and cabins are quite tight on space. The location was quiet and handy as we were situated just minutes from Charleville and all the tourist attractions there. Bonus for us was the opportunity to catch up on our washing. A machine was provided in the cottage, so no hassle about finding coins and a laundromat. A perfect mini holiday. Thank you Graeme and Deb.

We arrived at night and damaged the underside of the car due to the deep trough in the driveway, which was difficult to see, especially entering for first time - not suitable for 2WD

The cottage is situated separate from the rest of the park and very private and peaceful. It is comfortable, well appointed and all the little things have been considered for our comfort and care. The kitchen has everything you need and the bonus of our own laundry facilities was certainly appreciated. Very friendly, helpful managers during our 3 night stay.

    Nothing not to like.

The cottage was beautifully presented, very good value and exceptionally clean. The location was very private and quiet with surrounding bushland. We were immediately made to feel welcome. We were invited to join other campers for a pizza night around the campfire, pizza was cooked for us in a pizza oven, a very enjoyable evening. Location was ideal, close to the town but open space.

Should concrete the entry to the front door to prevent red dirt being trailed into the cottage...

Self- Catering Facility. Breakfast not offered or required for our stay. We saw Mallee Ringnecks for the first time in our lives. There were three of them that were around each morning. Easy to spot with their beautiful colorings on body and wings.
