The accomodation had everything I needed for a comfortable 4 nights stay. Approachable, friendly helpful staff onsite. Excellent self-serve breakfast included in the price.

I had hoped for a room with more character and charm like in the photos however ended up with a basic room, although still comfortable, I wasn't aware they had such rooms and was a little disappointed.

The manor had a nice warmth to it, there was plenty of parking and it was in a good location. The breakfast selection and dining room was great and the sitting room nearby with the fire was really nice!

We loved everything except for the pillows which were a bit soft for our backs.

We loved staying at Clydesdale Manor and it was such an amazing surprise as how quiet and clean it was. We had a tour of the property by lovely Linda who did it with so much pride. We loved it and plan to go back with family and friends.

We were so pleased when we walked in the door to find such a lovely, clean mini mansion. Our top floor 2 bedroom apartment was perfect. It had the olde world charm with the modern facilities. It was very clean and the beds were very very comfortable.the location was fantastic, close to the casino and the shops and cafes.

Great location....easy walks to city and surrounds. Fine 1880's architecture. Very neat and clean, plus handy kitchen and breakfast facility. Very relaxing place.

Toilet cistern was leaking quite badly and could have been a slip hazard.

Location was great- so handy to shops, cafes and restaurants! Breakfast was lovely and well provisioned. We enjoyed the lovely outlook and old world charm of the place.

Large, elegant and imposing house. Nicely furnished in an appropriate style, but with comfortable furnishings. Very good bed and linen. Situated on a major road but with the glazing cutting out almost all of the noise, I wouldn't have known that we were on a major road. The room that we chose was on the ground floor, the stairs leading to the upper floor, though elegant, might be a challenge with heavy luggage.

Felt hurried in the morning. Breakfast cleared away well before 10am. But I do like a lie in.

Very comfortable bed. Free parking. Lovely old world charm with modern facilities.

A few things needed maintenance. Water was coming through light in bathroom when it rained. We were told owners were aware of it. Good way to start a fire - potentially putting all guests at risk. This was a concern. Oven and cooktop didn't work but there was a temporary hotplate. Bedroom 2 was a separate room divided by a hallway. Hallway access was open to all as it was the access to fire escape.

Beautiful building in good location. Continental brekky was good. Our unit was fully self contained and had good views. Was 2 bedroom though one was detached from main unit.

The room was comfortable. The location was easy to get too. Shops were close at hand with lots of food options. And we either were able to be picked up for our tours or just went up the road a little. Breakfast was enough for us. With fresh fruit salad, yoghurt, toast,cereal, and a cuppa.

I enjoyed it all.

It was on a road that had plenty of cafes and shops to go in, it was very near Cole’s (the local supermarket). The staff that I saw were lovely and kind, Linda was especially sweet to me and the owner Rob was also nice and understanding of my situation. Staying here gave me a relaxing stay as I didn’t have to worry about anything and I could just do things at my own pace. There is also a bus stop practically right outside the manor, although I didn’t use it it was very nice to know that was an option.

Everything! The Manor is a stately house and a beautiful place to comeback to after a day sightseeing. The facilities and grounds are very well maintained. The Continental Breakfast was great. Looking over the garden in the morning was a lovely way to start our day.🌷🌷 Staff were professional, helpful and friendly. The check in process was seamless. Robert was extremely diligent in making sure we were well informed about access to the property and our room before our arrival, and guest facilities on arrival, which was extremely helpful. 😊

It’s a bit far away from the city center. There is no lift. The shower bar was broken. The hotel should communicate with us via Booking.com chat / email instead of mobile phone message as people may change their SIM card during travel.
